Increasing base girth?

I have been doing Newbie routine (3 month) and have increased girth in the mid shaft but not as much in the base.

The result is a fat dick up top and skinnier near the base. I’d like more of a cylindrical dick.

How can I target my base girth more?

Does hanging help with this? Should I consider starting given my 3 month experience?

Yes, hanging can increase base girth and also when pumping the base is usually the first thing to pack the cylinder. If you decide to pump make sure to use my selecting your cylinder size thread. Usually that thread says to use your erect base girth to select your cylinder size, but for you, use your max erect girth even if it is midshaft.

And yes, with your 3 months experience it’s time to specialize to a routine that fits your goals .


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

And, also make sure you’re getting all the way back when you jelq or do clamping, or whatever girth exercises you do (but in my opinion NEVER clamp against your erection… that far back). I always make sure I have a cock ring as far back as I can push it into the fat pad. I use that when jelquing to keep the penis engorged (but not erect). I never exercise erect.

I started with a traffic cone profile, went up to the baseball bat profile (like you’re talking now), and now it’s evened out into a solid upward curved bus.

Stretching really does help it the most at the base, IMHO.
