IR how close

I just bought a portable IR light and I was wondering how do you rig it up. Is it supposed to be near the ceiling or do you have to have it really close to your tool. It says that I shouldn’t put any body parts within 18”. So what should I do?

Then 18” should be good. Test it out, if it burns, it’s not a good sign.

It says 18” to the nearest surface being irradiated.

I have mine close enough to heat my penis well, but not close enough to feel like it’s burning or really uncomfortable. About a foot, I’d say. I think that 18” thing is just so things don’t catch on fire or scorch. I don’t think there are any dangerous “rays” in IR light.
