IR Lamp

Today my IR lamp arrived, 150 W good quality I think because I payed for it 60$ and the led it’s from Philips. So on the manual says that I should keep it at 32 inch(80 cm) from my body, but I kept it half the distance they say ed and didn’t gave me what I expected, yes it was worm but not like as worm as my towel under constant hot water was.

So this will be enough or should I put it closer more like 10 inches or something like that? My wasn’t so fluffy as it was when I did a worm up with my towel but that it’s just annoying to stay with the towel on and put the shower on it for 10 minutes every day twice.

So any advice guys?

Yes, use the lamp exactly as said in the manual.

And cover your balls and your eyes.

Yes but I don’t feel too much heat if I don’t keep it closer.

IR radiation is simply heat. There is no problem to put you much closer … as you do not feel a burning sensation. Similarly, unless you put your face close to the lamp, this poses no problem for the eyes. These are IR, not UV. When viewing a fire, the power emitted in the IR is very much more strong.

Your penis is not very heat sensitive. Use the back of your hand to judge how much heat your penis is getting. Hold the back of your hand next to your penis - if it is too hot on your hand, it is too hot on your penis. If it is OK on your hand, it is OK on your penis. Don’t cook your hand or your penis!

I bought a Sylvania bulb at Lowes for $8 and it gets very hot. Did you say yours is LED and was $60 I’d send it back and buy a regular incandescent bulb for less money.

Thanks guys! I have used it closer for 12 minutes session and looks like it’s ok! Doesn’t hang that much as after a hot towel worm up, but it’s much comfortable to just sit and do you’re worm up.

It is unlikely that we can reach the same level of heat with an IR lamp. Personally, I do warm up with a hot shower. I use the IR only to maintain heat during exercises. (150 W LED doesn’t exist. It’s an incandescent bulb, of course)
