Is 15 Minutes Of Stretching Enough?

Is 15 Minutes Of Stretching Enough?

I have been reading about PE for quite some time now and just started my routine 1 week ago. I only do stretching because My MSEG is already 6 inches so I don’t feel that I have to work on that. I am now at 6 inches NBPEL and I wonder if 15-20 minutes of stretching will take me to my goal of 7 inch NBPEL realistically.

It might but probably not. Over time you will probably have to add more time to make a one inch gain. You might even need to add a device to make a one inch gain.

Do the newbie routine and see where that gets you. There are no easy or shortcut ways when it come to PE.

Stretch for two hours and you’ll realize what you miss by stretching for 15 minutes only.

+1
Stay with the newbie (or Linear) for at least 3 or 4 months, read as much as possible here, then go from there.

Good luck. :)

Hell no! You dont need devices to get the one or even the two inch gains. You are right 15 mins stretching probably isnt enough to gain one inch but is more than enough for a newbie.

So Mikao57 stick with it and when you feel ready and conditioned go for more. Dont increase the intensity or the force you apply too much, just maximize the tension and go for 20-25 mins. You want to progressively increase the total time under tension from 15 to 20, from 20 to 25, from 25 to 30 after some months, but for the start trust me LESS is more.

You will tell us if it is enough, when the time comes. For now start on the newbie routine, preferably without stretches on the first 2 weeks.

Make sure to warm up and if possible use a heater while doing the routine. Heat is well known to loosen the tissues and provide a better and safer elongation.

I agree with Gentlepsycopath 100%. They are also many guys that have never touched a device and have gained inches in length. One is not better then the other.

Not to branch off this post but I must ask, considering your stretching technique that I admire a lot and use myself, iam almost two months in and have worked up to approximately 23 minutes stretch time (70 seconds per stretch). Does that sound reasonable? I slowly added time as weeks went on. Just did my first 70 second routine yesterday, before that was 60 seconds per stretch for about a week and a half. All positive PIs. Your response is very appreciated.

Maybe all newbies should just skip the newbie routine. 😉

Lol I see where your going with this Andy, thing is, my stretches are light because I believe in time increase instead of intensity increase. But hey, I get it, I’m guilty regardless lol

Thanks for the kind words. You are doing very well. If you can hold for 70 seconds i am sure that you can hold for 1.5 min. The truth is that the longer the better if you dont make the grip too tight.

A little tip is that if you cant hold it because you wrist hurts, without release the stretch change from downward to straight out stretch and then again downward. This will help your wrist to move, not be static and rest in a more comfortable position.

Dont forget to take rest days.

Awesome cool deal. Thanks a lot. And yes definitely rest days, I stay on a strict 2 on 1 off regimen.

I’m going to be contrarian to a lot of this thread and say you should try just stretching. I can’t tell you if it will work, but the worst case scenario is that you waste a pretty small amount of time each week over the next 2–3 months but don’t gain.

If you follow this board for any length of time, you’ll notice that new members constantly post threads asking, "Can I do way too much to my penis, right off the bat?"—to which the experienced members must reflexively answer, "No. Don’t do all those things at once. Do the newbie routine and work up slowly." One of the principles around here is that you should do the minimum required to create growth. So it’s no wonder people are telling you to launch into the newbie routine.

But you didn’t ask if you can do too much. You asked if you can do less, because you have specific goals. So I think it’s totally reasonable for you to start with just the warm-up and stretching part of the newbie routine and see if it gets you anywhere. You should still start with a short duration (maybe 2 sets of stretches; 30 seconds each; up, down, left, right, out, and around) and work your way up. If you’re not getting results after 2–3 months, you can always start jelqing at that point.

Check out this thread for some good advice about stretches: Tricks And Tips For Manual Stretching

One thing that might ease your mind is that most people seem to have a much harder time gaining girth anyway. I’m still in my newbie gains, explicitly targeting girth because I’m worried about getting longer than I want, and I’m still gaining length twice as fast as girth.

Why the Smithsonian? Because you could walk around it for a week and not see the whole thing.

Lenny is spot on regarding heat. Use heat to warm up and you’ll see better results in less time. It might not be as easy as you need to prepare a rice sock or ir lamp but it is better than any long as possible approach
