I’ve just started PE and on about my 5th workout. As i’m doing wet Jelqs I’ve found a hard time doing them by alternating hands. So what I’ve ended up doing is using one hand to in a sense clamp at the base and then use the other hand to perform the stroke. I find myself mostly releasing during the stroke and then reapplying the base hand grip for a second or so then doing the next stroke. I think this pretty much simulates the same effect as alternating but I find it easier because it keeps the hair out of the way. I”m curious though if anyone ever does this while keeping a grip (clamp of sorts) at the base the whole time? I figure it could increase pressure but also would need to be more careful.

I’d also like any advice people could give me on dry jelqs. I would love to be able to do them because they are less messy and I could do them with a lot less prep… but I can’t seem to get a good ‘feel’ for them even after reading things and watching the videos. Is it harder for guys that are cut? Should the erection level be higher than wet jelq’s?

Your wet jelq technique is pretty common and should be safe, as long as you don’t clamp down hard on the base. Watch for warning signs of injuries, obviously. The best PE technique is the one that you find convenient enough to stick to consistently; if you can’t keep up with a routine for several weeks, you’ll never know if it works for you.

I think dry jelqs are difficult for guys who are tightly cut. Most recommend doing them at a higher erection level than wet jelqs, for whatever reason.
