A couple of months ago, I began a routine that consisted of solely wet jelqs. I was very safe (I thought I was being a little too cautious — 30-40 jelqs/day, 10/set. I used a light grip, a warm compress to warm-up, and a warm compress + massage afterwards to warm-down) and after a few weeks, I lost feeling in my penis. (A side note: I’ve read a few posts spouting the dangers of erect jelqing. As I was careful, I followed that advice and made sure that I performed jelqs w/o an erection.) Eventually I could no longer get hard, and my penis felt very tired. For the next three weeks I was unable to maintain an erection. I stopped after a few days of that hell, and it took me almost three weeks to recover. Any ideas as to why this happened? Are some people just not receptive to jelqing? Just to emphasize how safe I was, I researched jelqing on this site and others for a few weeks. I followed the advice of numerous people who had claimed they’d made progress. I’m not too small to begin with, so at this point I feel like I should just give up on jelqing and other PE techniques. I can’t help but feel it’s all bogus.

I can only say that I’ve had the opposite, better EQ and 1/3” both ways in just over a month, I’m small though, so my gains will be greater I guess.

Did you take rest days?

I’m not sure if I’m understanding the routine. Did you do 30 to 40 a day? Or 10 sets of 30 to 40 reps a day? The latter is much too high for a newbie. I’ve been doing it somewhat consistently for over 4 1/2 months and I actually do less now than when I started due to lowered EQ and fatigue. I went all the way back down to 60 total, 4 sets of 15 and now do 4 sets of 25. So, 100 total. I also stretch. Since I’ve went with the ‘less is more’ practice, things have been really good.

Try something light, if yo want to. 10 min warm up. then just do 4 sets of like 15-20 jelqs. Then gradually increase repetitions by like 5 every 2 or 3 weeks. There’s really no reason to do more than 200 Jelqs, at least in my view. And even that is probably not necessary given the other exercises you can be doing when you’re conditioned enough.

I only did 30-40 jelqs per day; I know that that is a very small amount. Initially I started with maybe 50-70 jelqs per day, but I could tell that the exercises were causing me some harm, so I decreased to three or four sets of 10. Nevertheless I was negatively affected.

As for “rest days,” I think I probably rested once a week. Given how little jelqing I was doing, I didn’t think it was necessary to take more than one rest day per week.

I just hit another goal: 5 inch girth no lie! God, I love PE. I can say it’s very real. I am having trouble getting into the seven inch length range according to the standard measuring method around here, which is from the top. So i have mixed emotions today. Luckily I have read enough to know plateaus have been beaten before by tenacity and never say die attitude. Basically I will have to log a ton more hours hanging, like 1500, to get truly huge dick mandatory comment worthy, that is to say over seven from the top. I am not tall, and if you look at a ruler, that is a ton of cock. Bone pressed I am pretty close to 6.75, but I want to be 9 bone pressed one day. But I am getting thick and loving life!

Your story illustrates the danger of following advice too much. Paradoxically you should ingest much info, and apply to yourself a custom crafted routine that reflects your reaction physically to that knowledge. Jelqing freaking hurts. To me, it always felt dangerous, like veins were being moved without permission. Jelqing is king, you’ll read. Really? Ulis and horses always felt safer to me. Now I’m well conditioned, and I can handle some jelqs, but they are 10% or less of my manual girth routines. I’ll take an 85% erect jelq over a 50% erect jelq any day. I don’t want my veins and nerves shifted around that much, with more blood things are sturdier. To this day, jelqing was the only thing that felt dangerous, and I hang, wear an extender, did fulcrum and fowfer stretches, you name it. My water pump gets here this week.

Your veins must be protected. Build internal pressure for width enhancement with hand clamps, ballooning and edging. I’m telling you this for free. Give up unless you want a bigger cock.
