What is the recommended erect level for the best length gains while jelqing?

I’d say a good amount of erection is 85% by volume. When I’ve said this in the past, some people say “that’s too much” but it’s probably the same as people saying a 70% erection just using different estimations for about the same thing. To estimate 85% by volume measure your penis and work out the volume (or add it to the stats system and it will happen automatically). Measure out that volume in water and then throw away 15%. It’s quite a difference in volume. You penis needs to be in a pliable state, not diamond hard.

How does that feel? That’s really the important thing. Jelqing pressure is about two things, the pressure of the blood in the ripple above the grip and the general pressure of the blood in the shaft. Whatever your erection level you need to maintain a grip where the pressure above the grip in the shaft doesn’t get higher or lower as the stroke progresses. The grip has to be loose enough to allow backflow of blood but not so loose that you lose too much blood ahead of the grip to make that happen. Once you get good at basic jelqing follow the advanced techniques section in the thread linked above to add kegels and maximize the amount of blood in each stroke.

Don’t forget to hot wrap first and work carefully to avoid injury.
