Hey guys,

I’ve been doing the newbie routine for a couple of months now and have seen modest BP gains but no non-bone pressed gains. However, I keep reading various opinions on the “length” of each jelq stroke, varying from 2-3 seconds up to 10-20 seconds. I don’t know about some of you, but my unit isn’t long enough for a 20 second stroke! Ha. Seriously though, what is ideal? I personally find it difficult to go too slow, since my erection goes from 50-60% down to zero if I use 5 or 6 second strokes..

Just wondering those of you that have had long-term success, what worked for you. Is there a difference between 300 two second strokes, versus 150 four second strokes?

Besides, it is all about expansion while having enough control to not go into the injury zone.
2 seconds sounds a bit fast to me.. 4-5 seconds is about what I usually fall into (once I get around to P.E. nowadays ;) ).

My strokes are usually about 1.5-2 seconds. They’re still quite intense, though, since I repeat them in quick succession.

I think the key to successful jelqing is to move blood through the internal tissues of the penis. Any stroke that achieves a high rate of blood flow will work, I think.

So as long as the glans is expanded, a bit red, and has that “orange peel” look I’m doing fine?
And I is it true lower erection levels are more beneficial to length gains? Because that’s what I’m after!
