I try not to recommend anything and just offer accounts of my own experience.
If I was starting out with PE with what I know now, I would have gone straight to light pumping and light hanging, 20 minutes at 5 inHg every other day and sporadic light hanging with .5lb. for as many hours as is comfortable.
I’ve tried just about every PE exercise and I see jelqing, clamping and even manual stretches as subtly damaging to the penis, if not overtly. I don’t do them anymore. I think light pumping and light hanging are safer for a newbie and that the conditioning of the penis to withstand things like clamping isn’t desirable and is just a build up of collagen that stops gains when enough collagen has developed that you can’t exert enough force to expand the penis further.
I took clamping and jelqing to their limits and I couldn’t gain anymore past that point. There doesn’t seem to be that draw back with penis pumping and light hanging. My penis hasn’t become tougher from pumping and light hanging. Other than some abrasion from wearing a hanger without micropore tape and going for long walks, I haven’t gotten any injuries or even an increase in discoloration from the routine I mentioned above.
