JES extender - silicon noose clip fastener
Hi,
I’ve had problems with the silicon noose slipping out of the assigned holes on the bottom of the JES-extender.
I’ve seen many ways to cope with this like: Elastic bands, shoelaces, Velcro etc.
I’ve tried a lot of these but thought it would be better to make a small clip that hold the silicone noose in place that attaches to the other plastic.
So since I have experience with CAD design and 3d printers etc., I designed this and since it worked pretty good maybe others can use it too.
I’m still not 100% sure if I should hang or extend or maybe both.
I’ve attached the STL inside the .zip for 3D printing.
Also some pictures of the clip.
If you don’t own a 3D-printer yourself multiple websites with printing services exists (maybe adjust the filename of the .stl file if you don’t want them to know what you are printing).
NB: I don’t know how accurate the JES production is, in combination with using another 3D printer might not give you the same result. Insert multiple other disclaimers here.
Admin: maybe move this to “Extender forum”.
