L Arginine and an operation

I have been taken L Arginine for about 11/2 months now and I have an operation scheduled for August 19th. When should I stop taking this supplement. I guess the sooner the better or exactly how long does it really take to exit your system. Can someone please tell me when I should stop taken this supplement. Is it also safe to be taking other supplements like tribulus, damiana and gingko biloda during the operation.

If you ask me, it’s the ginkgo you should be worried about. Ginkgo thins the blood and would be a definite bleeding risk during a surgical procedure.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

From what I’ve read, L-Arg is metabolised fairly quickly. It shouldn’t be an issue.

As stated above, avoid blood thinners, which includes aspirin.

I had surgery (cornea transplant) back in April ‘11. I was taking a number of T boosting herbs, including Trib & Gink, as well as L-Arg, I had no problems.

Just ask your Doc. He will probably tell you not to worry as I have observed that most “old school” docs don’t seem to give much relevance to herbs, though my body tells me otherwise.

My surgeon’s office advised me to stop all blood flow enhancing products one week prior to my retina surgery.

My endocrinologist once advised me that his med school never offered a course in supplements which would indicate that many doctors are no more educated on supplements and their effects than we are.
