Linear Newbie Routine - No gains

Hi everyone,

This is my first post, so I would like to say thank you to everyone for sharing their experiences and knowledge to help us all keep learning.

I started doing PE 2 or 3 years ago but stopped, then tried again but I must have overtrained as I had negative PI’s and stopped aswell. It has been over a year that I stopped, then I read about the Linear Newbie Routine and decided to give it a go.

It’s now 2 months in of the Linear Routine doing 2 days on and 1 off. I am warming up under the shower in hot water, or using a blower heater to heat the tissues, then doing 2 30second stretches each direction, 80 4 second jelqs, and 5 minute of edging before warming down.

I have experienced no gains so far though. I have been paying close attention to my PI’s which are positive, increased morning wood and EQ.
The only gain I see is 0,5 cm after the session if I reverse Kegel with an erection, but it goes down again.

Any idea of what I could do to start getting results?

My starting stats are BPEL 18,5 cm (7.1 inch) x MSG 14 cm (5.5 inch)

Keep doing what you’re doing. Think I’m terms of adding a bit more when you’re 4-6 months in.

It’s been over 3 months that I have been on this routine and still no gains.
I have noticed that stretching doesn’t feel as positive as jelqing.
When I stretch lightly I feel like it does nothing. When I stretch slightly stronger, I feel no pain or discomfort, but afterwards I get some turtling, so I only stretch lightly.
My PIs are still positive but they are not increasing anymore.
Flacid hang has not improved.

I’m learning how my body reacts to different techniques and to listen to it.
I’m wondering if it is recommended to just jelq?
Also if there is anything else I can do to improve?

In the beginning of my PE journey I personally felt I got more from jelqing than anything else.I used to jelq 4 days a week for no longer than 20 minutes each session. If I did more than 20 mins I used to turtle.From jelqing I started doing clamped edging for about 15mins 3 x per week but you have to be well conditioned to do this.I personally got nothing from stretching but everyone is different. If I were you I would just stick with the jelqing for a while and listen to the body.I got increased girth and a lot more veins with just jelqing.Add some heat if your not doing so already.

I will try focusing more on jellying from now on, as it’s what feels better to me. I have been doing all my exercises with a space heater on pointed to my penis.

So far I have positive PIs, only turtled about 2 times, and have been listening to my body, but I’m 2 days away from the 4 month mark and no gains.

Should I consider pumping?

Hi Mate,
Just jelq for 2 more months and see where you are at the 6 month mark.I would be suprised if you didn’t have any results by then.Then look into some low pressure pumping.

I just changed my routine from the Linear newbie routine to an all jelq routine, as the stretching never felt very good. Does anyone has some input on this and on my current routine? The routine is the following:

- 8 minute warm up with a space heater blowing closely while doing Kegel and RK exercises
- 3 circular stretches gently in each direction
- 140 jelqs, 3 second each (at the end of the jelq I hold 1 more second to stretch)
- 5 minute edging
- 5 minute cool down

Hi,

When someone just starts PE, it can take up to 6 weeks performing exercises before the tunica begins to break down and gains begin to occur. Patience is key during that period, but it will pay off with consistency. I find the best results to follow the stress + time = growth formula, in that you focus on stressing the tissues for as long as you can with any technique. For example, if you are jelqing focus on holding the pressure instead of counting reps. I find it very efficient versus the old school methods. Just my 2 cents. PM me if you want more info. Thanks.

Howdy.! Work smarter, not harder and learn from others mistakes. Photo verified start at 8" bpfs x 6.25" base. Currently 8.6.25 bpfs" x 6.375" msg. New goal 9" bpel x 7" msg.

Thank you M9, it really helps to know these tips. I will focus that on Jelqing.

I have been doing PE for over 16 weeks now, 2 days on, 1 day off, I took two 1 week breaks as I felt I might have overtrained, but still have no results. Overall positive PIs. Just no growth.

I will keep on going consistently with this new routine and see what happens. If anyone has any suggestions I greatly appreciate it.
