When I was in my 20s and 30s I could hang a towel on my boner and flex it up. I used to call them “dick ups”.

I’m in my 50s now and noticed whatever muscle that was is very weak. I’ve been working on kegels to strengthen it but I’m just not making progress. Also when I shoot a load, it just dribbles. It’s been about 8 years since it shot out and this muscle get weaker it seems. It got really bad after surgery for sciatica, so I’m fearing possible nerve damage, although I don’t think those nerves are involved (L5/S1).

My erections are great. I feel that PE has weakened the ligaments because I’m hanging longer than I did and I’m bigger than what I was. It just bothers me that I’m not shooting anymore and the muscles seems lax now. Anyone solve this and can help me?

I think you want to start doing kegels.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I used to be able to do towel lifts as well. It’s not as impressive after stretching out the ligaments with downward angle hanging. I’m glad to have gained over an inch from hanging but I do miss that 10 or 20 extra degrees of erection angle sometimes.

I can see that from stretching the ligs, but do you still shoot ? I’ve been dribbling out so I think the muscle is shot.

Been doing them a lot for several months but it’s not getting stronger. Any tips on this one?

Maybe you need different kegel? I assume how far you shoot depends on amount of cum and pressure (force and diameter). I heard about porn star`s trick to squeeze glans a bit (make diameter smaller) to get better distance. Without trick that would mean to focus on force and speed kegels. Or to increase cum amount.
