Losing faith in PE

12

I started on December 31, 2009, just 22-23 days ago, for the first few weeks I only stretch 30-40 minutes a day plus ADS for another 3-4 hours. Just a few days ago I started Jelqing, not sure if I’m doing them correctly but I just keep on going. I don’t know if it’s just me hoping/wishing it works but my MORNING WOOD has return a bit, for months I had no morning wood, but recently I been getting some wood. NOT hardcore wood like when I was a teen but decent. Any Gains yet?? HELL NO, only been a few weeks, but I keep measuring every day, I need to stop doing that. LOL.

Also like other have said if you stop what do you gain?? NOTHING!! Just keep at it for 6 months a year. What is 30 minutes to an hour a day?? It’s NOTHING. For me Jelqing takes a lot longer cause I can’t keep a half decent erection an need to watch some porn/and use my imagination a bit to get going again, but I can only usually get 10-15 dry jelqs in before I lose the erection so need to restart everything again.

Plenty of guys do not get n00b gains. It is just that the ones that gain 1/4” in the first 2 months are the ones that post about their wonderful newbie experiences! It is very easy to be mislead into thinking that everyone gets quick gains. A short step from that to thinking that PE doesn’t work for you if you haven’t gotten them.

Has nothing to do with the topic, I was looking at your PE stats(do it for many poster just trying to see how much and how long it takes people to gain) but looking at yours it seem you lose length 1 1/2 inch between the mid 1990’s and 2001-2?

I have a theory that noob gains are more prevalent and largely explained if you consider members who start PEing with not their best EQ. One of the fastest things that you notice in the first few months of PE is the improved EQ, which can easily account for 1/4 inch, maybe even more. I believe “hard-gainers” and members who have to put in many months to see their first gains are generally those who started PEing with very good EQ, and thus had no gains from that.

Well that sucks.

Reverse PE? Or perhaps I have my measurements backwards? I don’t know but will take a look.

EDIT:
Ha! Ignore my “starting data” from ‘93. I don’t have a clue as to what is up with that. I started PE in 2001

That would be me alright.

It’s about persevering and being proud of the little gains you get along the way.

I suggest you do what I do. I’m heading into month four and have absolutely ditched the ruler. My gains have been small, but I know they’re coming. I just go at it everyday and know that 8 months from now I should see some exciting gains when I check back with the ruler. That’s what keeps me going: knowing that 8 months is so little time relative to one’s lifetime. So keep driving yourself and believe it’s working! The gains will come.

Great attitude man, the same outlook I have.

I would beg to differ. My newbie gains included relatively greater increases in flaccid size than in erect size, and you can’t explain that using the EQ argument. Never mind the fact that I kept almost all of these gains 4 and a half years after stopping PE entirely.

We should look for more data on both flaccid and erect gains that newbies report.

Expecially BPSEL data. If BPFSEL augments in newbies, than it’s hard to say that ‘newbie gains = better EQ’.

Actually it explains it perfectly. Better EQ is largely due to improved circulation and vascularity, it is only logical that with these improvements your flaccid will hang fuller. However, if your circulation was good enough to nearly max out your erections then you won’t have the “gains” that people with not-so-good circulation might see on their erect unit after a month or two of PE.

Restarted for a week now, and turned up my streches to 1 minute and
Kept dry jelqing as much as I can do in 10 minutes. Left out the kegels
This time to see actual gains instead of just improved erections (still do
Warm up/downs of course). With the kegels out, I have no gains from EQ
And have weaker erections. All I got is a slightly better flaccid.

This is so discouraging, where should I go from here?

1. Keep doing your kegels, don’t you want to keep that increased EQ anyway?
2. Dry jelqing will not give you any length, it is for girth, wet jelqing is for length (and EQ)
3. When jelqing, it’s not about how many you can do in 10 minutes, all jelqs should be at least 3 second, slow, methodical jelqs if possible.
4. If you have a better flaccid this is an indication that you will probably make some erect gains soon. I didn’t see any erect gains till after my flaccid got almost .5” bigger.
5. Don’t be discouraged, there are plenty of other exercises out there that will target your penis in different ways to what the newbie routine does, everyone is different and people respond differently to different things.

Out of interest, do you feel a cord running along the top of the shaft of your penis when erect?

So, according to this argument, people with perfect EQ have extremely vascular dicks? Besides, my EQ fell to pre-PE levels after stopping PE, and I still have those newbie gains.

I agree with marinera, though, the best way to determine the nature of newbie gains would be to track BPFSL (maybe this measurement could be included in the PE Data Site).

Another point: there are guys (not so many, but there are) that get newbie gains up to a 0.5 - 1” EL x 1./4- 1/5” EG. I never heard anyone taking viagra and measuring so bigger.

Also, there isn’t any appreciable difference in ‘newbie gains’ (as far as I know) between old guys and youngers. This doesn’t accords with ‘just better EQ gains’ idea.
