Loss of erection-sensitivity after jelqing
I am new to PE, started April 2nd, with the newbie routine (mostly jelq and kegels, very little stretching - I am yet to get the hang of it). I might have deviated from a couple of points stressed: a) Erection level - I might have jelqed at a high erection ~80%, b) hot wraps - I found that not very convenient and used the soak method (in a cup of warm water) and the shower (running warm water after end of PE). I wasn’t sure if I was gaining and so I increased the number of jelqs from 200 to 300 and also the routine to 3 days on/1 off (I started with 2 on/1 off). There was never any pain/no blood, only one spot on the first day of jelq, no discomfort that I remember.
The penis did increase in size, I didn’t measure at the beginning, I can tell this definitely - no question about it, both erect and when flaccid, both in girth and length. However, I find that I am having some erection problems. I did use the “search” feature in this site extensively and learned that this can come about if jelqing is overdone. I need some advice on how best to deal with it, especially from others who have been through this - which I did not find good details on. Any help/advice is most appreciated.
Problems:
A) Erection: My erections are not as they were before. Earlier I would be able to get erect by visualization (thought as stimulus), now it requires playing around with the penis (tactile) for a bit to get an erection. That too, it is not hard, it is sort of soft. The moment I noticed this issue I stopped PE completely (though not the kegels, is that okay?). Also situation seems to be improving - I was able to get an erection while watching porn clips on the computer (visual stimulus), without using my hands.
B) Feeling/Sensitivity: I am not sure what to make of this, whether the skin has lost sensitivity or the penis feels different even to me on account of the size changes. When I pinch, I do feel the pain - that tells me it is not numbness (is this a fair test?), but it certainly does not feel the way it used to.
C) How long does it take for things to return to normal? One of the posts mentioned a couple of days. It has already been three days and things have not returned to normal. Should I be worried yet? When to seek medical advice? At this point I am not eager to get back into PE till situation returns to normal - but eventually can I, and what time frames are recommended?
Finally, a big thanks to the founders of this board and those who keep in going, I learned a lot and I am very impressed by the strength of community here. One day hopefully, I will be able to contribute.
