Loss of erection-sensitivity after jelqing

Loss of erection-sensitivity after jelqing

I am new to PE, started April 2nd, with the newbie routine (mostly jelq and kegels, very little stretching - I am yet to get the hang of it). I might have deviated from a couple of points stressed: a) Erection level - I might have jelqed at a high erection ~80%, b) hot wraps - I found that not very convenient and used the soak method (in a cup of warm water) and the shower (running warm water after end of PE). I wasn’t sure if I was gaining and so I increased the number of jelqs from 200 to 300 and also the routine to 3 days on/1 off (I started with 2 on/1 off). There was never any pain/no blood, only one spot on the first day of jelq, no discomfort that I remember.

The penis did increase in size, I didn’t measure at the beginning, I can tell this definitely - no question about it, both erect and when flaccid, both in girth and length. However, I find that I am having some erection problems. I did use the “search” feature in this site extensively and learned that this can come about if jelqing is overdone. I need some advice on how best to deal with it, especially from others who have been through this - which I did not find good details on. Any help/advice is most appreciated.

Problems:

A) Erection: My erections are not as they were before. Earlier I would be able to get erect by visualization (thought as stimulus), now it requires playing around with the penis (tactile) for a bit to get an erection. That too, it is not hard, it is sort of soft. The moment I noticed this issue I stopped PE completely (though not the kegels, is that okay?). Also situation seems to be improving - I was able to get an erection while watching porn clips on the computer (visual stimulus), without using my hands.

B) Feeling/Sensitivity: I am not sure what to make of this, whether the skin has lost sensitivity or the penis feels different even to me on account of the size changes. When I pinch, I do feel the pain - that tells me it is not numbness (is this a fair test?), but it certainly does not feel the way it used to.

C) How long does it take for things to return to normal? One of the posts mentioned a couple of days. It has already been three days and things have not returned to normal. Should I be worried yet? When to seek medical advice? At this point I am not eager to get back into PE till situation returns to normal - but eventually can I, and what time frames are recommended?

Finally, a big thanks to the founders of this board and those who keep in going, I learned a lot and I am very impressed by the strength of community here. One day hopefully, I will be able to contribute.

Sam, you might try calming it down a little and when you start over do the Newbie Routine. We all get little tell tell signs when we over-work our cocks and yours may be signaling just that. I imagine our cocks are all different and take different workloads, you may be doing something as simple as putting too much stress on it.

Mr. Nine,

Thanks for the response. I will definitely be taking it a lot easier next time when I restart. For the moment I am little concerned whether this adverse reaction - loss of erection and sensitivity is permanent? Hope it gets reversed soon .

Hey samuel,

Welcome to the forums. As Nine said, make sure you don’t over work yourself. Signs like pain, lack of morning wood, loss of erection quality, etc are tell tale signs you are overworking. However, your situation seems a bit different. Have you considered the fact that you are “playing” with Mr Dicky more often and therefore may make it more difficult to arouse him? I know it takes a little more for my guy to stand up at attention, but once he is there he is more solid than ever. Just another POV.

Try doing a 1 on/1 off routine…IMO, it’s the best.

I struggled with the same problem you did. My routine is:

Warm Wrap
300 Jelqs (3 seconds each)
Warm Wrap
Simple Manual Stretches (5 mins)
Warm Wrap

I added in some Ulis and Horses too early in my routine and I wasn’t able to get the erection I used to (a tell-tale sign of over-doing PE). I took 4 days off and now only do a 1 on/1 off routine and my penis starting to get back to normal.

Doing be over-zealous. Take your time. There’s no rush to get that extra inch. You’ve managed to be without it this long, what’s an extra couple of months? Trust me, your penis will thank you in the long run if you slow down and ease into the fabulous world of PE.

Your exact symptoms (PE injury perhaps?) happened to me a few weeks ago.. I was pretty freaked out over the whole idea that I couldn’t achieve max erections like I did the day before, so I just stopped PE activity for about 2 or 3 days and then resumed a stretching and jelqing normally again and gradually my dick go back in top shape. I believe it was a BTC stretch and I sat on it wrong when I was trying to stretch my ligs that caused the exact same symptoms you are having I.e. Loss of sensitivity, taking more then visual stimulus to get erect, etc.. So basically just take it easy for a couple days and you’ll know when your body tells you it’s ok to go ahead and start tugging on your penis again :)

Guys,

Thanks a lot for the advice. You are right as I found out myself. Morning wood is back (feels great). Visual stimulus works very well. Visualization (imagination without picture in front, but in my mind) also works now. Touch stimulus has improved, but I feel could improve a little more. I think this could be the problem here - a loss of touch sensitivity from “handling” the penis (jelqing especially, the penis was not used to before). I bought some Vitamin E lotion which I am applying to the penis now (this supposedly helps in healing damaged skin, even if it doesn’t it is a great moisturizer). The skin feels much better now. I found the cream in Sam’s Club for $6.64 (a large size plastic container, should last about a year for me).

I am going to take the advice mentioned above, I haven’t resumed PE yet. But a 1 on/1 off routine (similar to weight training), with the newbie routine seems very appealing at this point. Thanks guys, for the support.

Some people can handle a 2 on/1 off or 3 on/1 off routine, but not me.

I lift weights three times a week (push/pull/legs) and feel that this should be applied to PE as well. Whenever I lift weights, I find that my body isn’t sore the next day, but the SECOND day after I lift weights. I think my immune system is out of wack and my body does take longer to heal normal scrapes and bruises. So, I figure I shouldn’t overdo it with PE - that’s why I do a 1 on/1 off routine.

Good luck samuel_john

I am pleased to hear that everything is good, Sam. If I can ever help you, let me know, you seem like a class act. If you take things a little easier you will stick with the whole process much longer, as time goes by it will become almost automatic to increase or decrease intensity before it is too late.

Your doing great.
