Lubrication

Hi,

I always jelq using soap as lubrication but the other day I was reading a post and someone said that jelqing using soap for lubrication was not a good thing.is this true? If so, what should I use? It’s just that soap was so easy and it is not messy.

Yeah soap will supposedly make you red and raw after a few days. I remember being a young man and whacking it using shampoo, but it’s too abrasive. Soap is meant to clean, so it has an abrasive, although very light, consistency. Popular choices are baby oil, lube of course, and one guy even said mayonnaise worked well. I just use bargain basement supermarket lube, but I used to use higher end KY and Maxxx and those worked better.

Alright thanks continental but one last thing; soap has nothing to do if I haven’t gained right? I think I know the answer jeje; I just wanna be sure cause I’m trying to find out what are the things I’m doing wrong so I can start gaining. It’s about time since I’ve been in the business 3 months now.

The soap won’t affect your gains, unless it’s hindering your perfection of the jelq technique. What’s your routine like and how often do you do it?

My routine is the following:

5-10 mins of warm up in a VERY hot shower

30 seconds stretching (up, down, left, right and BTC) 3 sets

50-60 jelqs

10 mins warm down

I try to do my routine 2 on/ 1 off but sometimes I don’t have time so sometimes is 1 on / 1 off or 1 on/2 off
Is this too light? Should I do the newbie routine exactly as it is described even though I am three months in?
