Masturbation EQ > Sex EQ

There have been hundreds of threads about EQ on Thunder’s over the years (as I’ve researched). Most people think it is due to poor circulation or a nervous system/stimulation problem from desensitization and poor conditioning. There is no doubt in my mind that these are valid and realistic explanations as to why masturbation can sometimes yield greater EQ than sex with a partner.

My hypothesis is simply that when having sex, the blood is diverted elsewhere. Although sex isn’t exactly laying bricks or digging a ditch, it can get strenuous at times. Especially for bigger guys, the muscles around the body are demanding A LOT of oxygenated blood to keep going. This HAS to have a deleterious effect on erection quality. When masturbating, most guys are just sitting, standing or laying down relatively stationary with one or both of their arms active. Therefore, there is more blood to fill the chambers of the penis adequately. The big muscles around the body that are used extensively during sex are not really called into play when masturbating.

Many will say “cardio exercise, core exercise, or strength training will help.” On one hand, I believe that all modes of exercise are critical to penis health and overall health. However, when we’re working out, we’re not training while simultaneously trying to maintain a 100% erection (I’m not at least).

I think this is responsible for at least 75% of the discrepancy between masturbation EQ and sex EQ. Let’s use some brainpower and try to come up with a solution to getting the penis more blood during moderate to heavy exertion and incorporate this into standard Thunder’s PE routines.

Yes, when you masturbate you just sit there, you don’t do any “acrobatics” like when you are having sex, pumping blood though your muscles. The kissing , the touching,the “handling” aka the foreplay….drains some energy from you, especially if you’re not well rested. I know that when I have like >30-60 min of foreplay and I didn’t sleep well the night before, I’m tired when it comes to having sex , hence lower EQ. What I find to work is to have sex shortly after you meet with your girl, or just to lay there in the bed, allowing her to do the foreplay.

I would like to add that I noticed while doing foreplay(30-60 mn) I get erect and if I keep it there for too long my BC muscle gets tired before having sex. Hope it makes sense.

Yeah, this can happen to me too. The blood flow is the issue I’m trying to hone in on. There’s got to be a way to “train” or “practice” that will help mitigate the blood loss to muscles (to a degree).

I guess a reasonable method would be to exercise while stimulating yourself to a full erection so your body gets used to the additional blood demand. But this can be tough to do unless you’re working out at home. It can also be unsafe…stimulating yourself while riding a bike or jogging can get hairy.

I see this issue as ultra-relevant and definitely something that should be addressed in a penis enlargement/enhancement routine. Most would agree that while length and girth are important, women really get off on a 95-100% hard dick. The closer we can get to maintaining this regardless of how vigorous the sexual activity gets could do wonders for many members and lurkers alike. This is where the issue comes in: how to train the body to keep a high level of blood in the penis (without external devices or aids) when you start sweating from the pushing. I’m brainstorming, but we could probably get some really good ideas on here with participation.

On a serious note, there’s more than enough blood in the human body for even the biggest penis (between 5~6 litres). I imagine it’s just psychological. You’re paying little attention to the little fella. It’s like if you’re masturbating and then your mother calls your phone - unless you two have a very odd relationship the erection’s going to go down.

I definitely acknowledge the psychological aspect to the issue, but I’m trying to determine if there’s a way to combat the body physiologically drawing blood to working muscles at the expense of EQ. The first things that came to mind (and this will seem silly; in fact I think it’s hilarious) are:

Jerking off in a plank position, squat position, bridge position, etc. for time and gradually progressing intensity.

or

Doing athletic moves while nailing a Fleshlight (if you have something to mount it on) for time and gradually progressing.

Both could be a part of an edging routine…

I’m usually sitting upright if I’m watching something but if I’m just jerking it to my thoughts I’m reclined or laying down. Well first of all, my EQ is usually great, especially since I started PEing. Sometimes though when I’m really workin’ it, it gets strenuous. I have a decent amount of muscle mass and I’m 6’1 so it seems like my body needs a lot of energy for leverage and such.

Occasionally I’ll overheat and my EQ suffers because my body is diverting blood elsewhere. I’m still at 80-90% when this happens, but I’d like to be a missile the whole time, regardless of physical demands. I’ve seen others complain or hint at this issue as well, which is why I started the thread.
