Two common thoughts are to prepare your cock through an initial break in period to mitigate chances of injury. The second idea is that one should begin PE through finding the least amount of force that will provide gains and as gains stop at a particular level of force, then one can take a break for several weeks and come back to see if they squeeze out some additional gains at that level of force or notch the force up slightly to continue to gain. So while gains will come with a lot of force so does the chance of injury and the cock becoming toughened prematurely making future gains more difficult.

Others might be able to articulate this better than I have.

At the end of the day the choice is always ours as to where we are going to begin.

Yes. Many dive in and they’ve never conditioned themselves. Quick gain aspirations lead to injury.

BTC hanging is like the opposite of SO while laying back, on your back, or just sitting dow and holding legs straight forward like laying down allowing the hanger to go “between the cheeks”. It is a very intense angle, good for lig gains I guess, careful with it though. I don’t have any other advice to give other than what is already know about ADS/ADH, but yes I am a firm believer.

That’s the best measuring period, 2 weeks!

I use a cockring to keep the lig stretched kind of, keeping the penis base “engorged?”, I go totally flaccid in it though, I don’t consider it ADC because I put it behind my balls as well…felt good for me after hanging, just saying..

Sorry about my post adgj1987, it wouldn’t let me quote you on that.
Be careful and stay consistent in whatever you choose to do eventually.

I actually did PE in 2017 for about 4 months. Newbie routine. No gains. Took an 8 month break. Then I got a PE coach (don’t laugh) to start taking it more seriously and do better logging. I learned a lot but ultimately the routines didn’t feel intense enough. We always took the ultra safe route, which I learned a lot from, but it was too light. I’ve been doing that for ~8 months. So now I’ve been hanging for 2 weeks and I think I am adequately prepared. 5 lbs. feels light and I don’t reach fatigue at all I don’t think (and I’m up to 6 sets/day). I am having some edema build up the past few days due to some technique issues I think, and will continue to work on that while maintaining 5 lbs. until I get it right.

I am hoping with my skinny girth it will be easier to make length gains, or at least possible. I plan to put in ~3-4 hours/day at least 5 days a week, hopefully 6. I will get there with time, but hopefully when I reach that gains will be inevitable.

I honestly don’t see how BTC hanging works. It sounds like you have to be in a super uncomfortable position and it’s very difficult if not impossible to work from a desktop computer during a BTC hang. But supposedly that is the most effective angle. For any of you who have hung BTC, did it result in the best gains, and if so was it by a big margin?

You can say that again. I have quick gain aspirations but I’m trying to curb them with logic and reason. I am telling myself to be smart and that it’s better to have longevity than risk an injury or worse. This reminder could not be overstated.
