Need some info on healing time...

Hi guys,

When you do PE, your supposedly breaking down the tissue, blood vessels, micro-tears, ect…so that over time your penis will be able to hold more blood therefore giving you a larger penis. So after a PE workout, how long does it take for you penis to start heal and how long does it take for it to be healed so that you can do PE over again. I read on here before but I can’t remember exactly what he said, it was either you start to heal within 8 hours after doing PE exercises or it was that your micro-tears or whatever heal within 8 hours, the impression I got was thaat every 8 hours was enough rest time for your penis, so instead of doing the one day on/one day off that the poster was implying that 8 hours of rest is good enough for the penis. I was just trying to get a more scientific answer to this question, that way us PE users will have a better idea of how long to wait before doing another PE routine, hopefully some of you’s can be of some help, thanks!

To the best of my knowledge, PE gains are not borne out of microtrauma, but a result od plastic deformation.

Malice - No science here but just my facts based on my experiences. I am a pumper and I also do manual exercises between pumping sessions. My total workouts can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Really depends on how my penis feels which leads me to my story about rest.

I typically do a 5 day ( Mon-Fri ) on 2 ( Sat-Sun ) off. There for a while it seemed the rest was enough but some weeks it just didn’t seem like enough. Last week I wasn’t able to workout on Friday. So I actually just said the hell with it and took off Sat and Sun too for a total of 3 days off. This week has been awesome and I can tell the extra rest made a difference.

I have been bodybuilding for 15 years. I didn’t figure out until years later that my 3 days on and 4 off routine is the best and keeps me out of trouble. I have people all of the time stop me and ask how I was able to get my body where it is. I just say I listen to it. Meaning you can’t force a workout to be 100% if you not into it and rest is crucial.
Same thing with PE, some days are better than others just give what you can give and stop to fight another day.
I have seen people come and people go in the gym. Leaving frustrated, hurt or whatever. PE is just like bodybuilding ,the long term results are what you are after.

No the penis is not a muscle but it needs rest. How much depends on what your body tells you. This is something you have to practice. Slow and steady will win the race everytime.

The question would be, why would you want to heal completely, allowing your unit to become stronger, before you applied more stress?

I meant to add, listen closely to your body. It will tell you when you need a break.

I don’t follow rest vs healing time. Do they mean the same thing? I’ve read other posts and on one hand they say you need rest between days of PEing and then say that it is time to heal. I can’t keep up with its needed rest for gains and needed rest for over doing it.

I feel like a little bity worm on a great big hook.

I don’t understand this. I’ve been PEing for a month now and I’m getting fustrated with not knowing how many rest days I need. If the goal is to not let the penis heal completely then why not PE everyday? Or would a 6 day on, 1 day off or a 3 on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off routine be better? Since gains are almost non-existant I don’t know if it’s because I’m doing too much or not enough. The thing is that my penis is still sore for my next PE session but it tends to go away after my first set of stretches. I’m doing the newbie routine btw. Anybody have any advice to give?

Bryson,

My idea was always to take a rest when I thought I was approaching the level of damage and stress that might cause an injury. When I reached that point, I would take a rest to allow for some healing before continueing the stress.

And when is that? Days? Weeks? and how much rest would you take? How many rest days would you recommend for a month old newbie? Anybody else have any advice?

Bryson,

>And when is that? Days? Weeks?<

I do not believe you can actually go by any set schedule, but rather by what you feel. I had essentially a 5 on 2 off schedule because of privacy concerns, but I would hang on those two off days when I could. If you do not have privacy concerns, then rest when you feel you simply cannot PE on an individual day. Say you start your PE for the day, and you penis says no, then take a rest.

>and how much rest would you take?<

I do not think I ever required more than 48 hours to recover sufficiently to continue PE. But that was me, and only happened a couple of times. With privacy, I believe I could have hung continuously for weeks, without any rest days, if managed properly.

>How many rest days would you recommend for a month old newbie?<

Only you can answer that. If somebody else makes a recommendation, it is based on THEIR situation, and not yours.

I think the moral of the story here is, is to choose a schedule that best suits your lifestyle and sticking with it. Some other PE forums are big advocates of rest days where they emphasize having every 2nd day off and the less is more mentality. However, alot of members here stress the importance of PE as much as you can, and that rest days are not as important.

So i think you have to be somewhere in the middle of these viewpoints. I personally do 2 on and 1 off, mainly because it suits my lifestyle better and also because i really cant be bothered Pe’ing more than 2 days on.

Im 3 on 1 off also I just started.
