New guy needs quick advice

I have no idea why some of you guys are even doing PE! You’re lucky to have started at or above average. I’m definitely below avg at 5 x 4.25 but I don’t particularly care as that can change.

Anyway, I have some quick questions. I don’t exactly need advice on a beginning routine. I pretty much have that mapped out. It’s just something simple that’s already been suggested in the stickys at the top of this forum.

My questions involve timing. When should I start jelqing longer and longer? After how long would it be considered safe to throw in some horse squeezes or uli’s or any of dld’s great techniques?

I used to read up on the PE scene often. I never got into it, but always read on it. Well, I’ve been out of the loop for about a year and a half. So you guys are using new terms that are way over my head, especially the whole LOT thing. I’ve read over it quite a bit, but I am still a little fuzzy. So let me try to sort this out. If i’m stretching at 7:00 and do a kegal and feel no pullback this is my LOT if I felt a tug when I did it at 8:00? If this is my LOT, what exactly does that mean? Do I stretch up or down, etc. And how do I work the tunica? And what’s the best way for working the ligs? I’ve yet to find any information specifically addressing this (probably didn’t look hard enough).

Try increasing the time by 5 mins per week, and pay attention to what effect it is having. The best way to judge a routine is by feel, with experience you will know what is good and what is bad. I would wait 2 months before trying ulis or horses, it might be that you dont need them in the beginning anyway.

Your LOT is the point at which you no longer SEE a tugback while doing a kegel. Start at 12 and work downwards, when you cant see a tugback, that is your LOT.

Guess what, you didnt look hard enough. Go read the LOT theory thread again, and use the search feature (link on the top right of every page).

After you have read up, why dont you tell me the answers to your question.

ss4, thanks for your very quick reply. I’ve read up and seem to have found the answers that I need.

I was reading through your story at the top of this newbie forum, and I appreciate the encouraging words of not only you but of everyone. It’s like working out… Sometimes getting started and staying motivated is the hardest part esp. if gains don’t come right away.

Anyway, on a personal note, one thing caught my eye. Did you play netquake or quakeworld?

I have no fucking clue. I have a demo version with like 6 maps or something, the multiplayer option works. Sometimes is its very s…..l…..o…..w…..
