NEW MEMBER INFO

You must access the forum the first time after registering, by clicking the link in the email that is sent to you with your password. This completes the registration process and you should be able to post as soon as I activate your account. If you do not access your account by using the link in the email to access the forum within 5 days, your registration will be automatically cancelled.

Please remember that using a username you use elsewhere is probably a bad thing and using a username/password combination that you use elsewhere is definately a bad thing. In the former case: Google scans the forum, it will find and link penis enlargement to your username. If you use the same username on twitter, people you know on twitter will find you here.

If you are registering and you hit a problem with your email address not working:

• we block accounts with temporary email addresses
• some places block our mail to you (e.g. microsoft) because of the subject area
• we block the emails that block us to make sure you don’t register with an email address that won’t work

• send password reminders
• contact you if you contact us
• subscriptions, if you choose to subscribe to threads or forums
• forward messages from members, if you enable it

If you have problems, Contact Us (using the link that is at the bottom of every page) and we will straighten it out.

All attachments/pictures/drawings, in any forum, must be released by a moderator before they will appear in your post. If you are concerned that the attachment did not work, click the edit button in your post. You should see something to the effect of “Keep current attachment” at the bottom of the edit page. If you see that, then your attachment has been posted correctly. And please be careful of what kind of attachments you post, dick pics go in the Members Pics Forum.

Please read the f.a.q. material for using the forum. Click the little button on the top of the page. It will help you to use the forums effectively.
Also, set your options in your UserCP to view all threads. There is GOLD in some of the older threads, along with answers to most of your questions. I don’t want to come off like I’m trying to limit posting, what I am after is too not annoy the veterans by continuously asking them the same questions. BTW, the search function on this forum is awesome if you take a little time to learn how to use it.

If you get a “banned” notice or “application declined” after you attempt to register, here are some possible reasons.

If you attempt to register and are placed in the “Application declined” group, here are some possible reasons.

Your username or email user name referenced “child” or “boy” or “girl” in the name. Not acceptable.

Your IP has been used for mischief in the past. Not Acceptable.

You list your homepage and it is a hacker, cracker, or some strange shit, off the wall site. Not Acceptable.

You already have a membership and are trying to register a second one. Not Acceptable.

Usually the script kiddie type nicknames get bounced also. Just for pure meanness on my part. If you feel you have been treated unjustly, send me an email and state your case.

Avatars can be uploaded from your user control panel, click the “edit options” and scroll to the very bottom of that page.

You need to be registered for 14 days and have 30 posts before you can upload a personal avatar.

There are no default or standard avatars.

Avatars are moderated in the same way as attachments so you will have to wait for moderation if you have just uploaded a new avatar. Even after moderation the avatar may be deleted if it is objectionable.

This is the way it works.

You fill out the membership application. As soon as you submit your application, the server sends an address verification email to the email address that you have provided in your application. YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS IN THIS EMAIL!! The address verification email has a link that you must use to verify your address. Once you have done this, you application is added to the “Members awaiting moderation” queue. ALL membership applications have to be approved/moderated before your account is activated.

Potential problems.

You used a bogus, over quota, or closed email account. You wasted your time as you will not be able to receive the address verification email. The address verification email gets sent back to our server immediately, so you have no way of getting the email from our server that you need to continue with your application. Fix this problem by using a good email account. We DO NOT give away or sell any email addresses.

You have filled out your application and submitted it with a good, working email account, yet you receive no address verification email. Check your spam folder/spam filter, especially if you are using a Yahoo email address. Yahoo treats the address verification email from our server as spam and files it in your spam folder. Other email providers may do the same, or they may use a filter to reject the address verification email. Check and see if this is the problem. You may be able to access your spam filter settings and add “thundersplace.org” to an allow email list.
