I don’t know how much weight you hang w/ but I would follow the guide that comes with the x4 pretty closely. Not only have those parameters been used to make gains in clinical studies so they are 100% proven to work, but as you move up you will get a better and better feel as to how many bars to use and what tension to use after a few weeks.
I’m not sure what exactly you mean…Push the device down all the way,, stretch your penis out (the head of your penis should be just at where whatever strap you are using is), strap your penis in 1/2”~ below your glans (should be about same spot that you attach your hanger), and let the device stretch out.
