Newbie variation that might work better for me

Hello everyone! I’m 2 weeks into the newbie routine. No major changes but it really looks like something is going on there. OK so here comes my question. My starting girth is 4.3 inches (it looks like it is 4.4 now but I don’t want to say anything about measurements until I do this for 3 months) so I wanna go for higher erection jelquing, to increase girth, since my length is pretty average, something like 6.3nbpel. After 5-10-15 mins of stretching, the penis is a little tired and maintaining erection, even while edging becomes a little difficult. So I want to try this: instead of 5 mins of hot cloth for warmup, I could go for 15-20 mins of edging. Then, since my penis is erected, I can go for 10-15 mins of jelquing. It is easier to maintain an erection after edging than after stretching, at least for me. After the edging + jelqing I could go for 10-15 mins of stretching under hot water spray. So I was thinking to replace classical newbie routine with: 15-20 mins edging(for warmup), then 10-15 mins of jelqing 70-80% erection level(for girth), then 10-15 mins of stretching under hot water spray(for length) plus of course, kegels. My goal is 7nbpelx5eg, by the way, and I am starting from 6.3nbpelx4.3eg. What do you say?

Erect jelq are really dangerous. I think by my personal opinion to stay with newbie routine to prepare your dick first, after that you can switch to hi intensive training. Your goals sounds really realistic. Manual girth exercises are really good you can try it too.

I concur with Bobikar’s advice. I also suggest that you read the thread on measurement. While I understand the intent of your goal on length, we recommend measuring and reporting bone pressed as it is the most accurate form of measurement.

How to Measure Your Penis


Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

I don’t talk about jelqing that much because pumping is my thing, but when I do I recommend this.

First, never jelq at 100% erection level because it is dangerous and the tunica is too rigid to stretch or expand from the pressure of each jelq stroke.

For length you should jelq around the 60% erect level so stretching is targeted. For girth, jelq around the 80% erection level so expansion of the tunica is targeted from internal blood pressure increase with each jelq stroke. Kinda like squeezing one end of a tubular balloon and watching the other end expand.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.
