No gains in a year plateau

You probably need to take a month or two off to let the tunica toughen up.

Wow, time just flies when doing PE lol. Already 1 1/2 month since my last post.

Interesting theory and impressive gains by the thread author. The longest break I’ve taken is a few weeks, never more than a month.

So my 1 1/2 month update…no gains. I’ve been doing my routine focused on girth with short but intense stretching session daily but after 1 1/2 months zip. Not even 0.1". I do jelq and clamp for 30min-1hr daily and my penis definitely feels worked out, but still no gains. If there was a gain it was too small to measure anyways. My thought is if the routine is working I should at least see measureable gains after a month or so, and if I don’t I need to do something different.

I was going to try hanging next but after reading "Punctuated PE Theory" I think I’ll try that and stop PE for a few months. Sucks I just can’t keep going and gaining steadily but at least I’ll have time to do other things. I do remember in the past (I’ve been doing PE for almost 3 yrs) I stopped for a period and started again and I think that’s when I suddenly went from 6" to 6.5. My memory is hazy of how it happened and I didn’t keep good records but that could be why. Ever since I hit 6.5 I haven’t taken a break and have gained very little since then.

Start: 5.5" BPEL (not sure exact date, sometime summer '07. never measured girth in early days)

Current: 6.8" BPEL x 5.25" MSEG

Goal: 8"!!!

I too believe that most guys can gain a certain amount relatively easily after which additional gains become very difficult, or impossible. On the other hand, some have reported steady, slow gains over the course of quite a few years.

I have gained about 1.5” in length over the course of about 2 years, but very little over the last 6 months. Ironically, although I am concentrating on length, I do seem to be continuing to gain girth, and I had very little girth gain for the first 6-9 months. I turned to more intense stretches (including two-handed, tug-of-war stretches, fulcrum stretches, bundled stretches, and 30-60 sec Kegel stretches) as well as hanging to try to continue length gains. I do seem to be making very slow gains in BPFSL so we will see.

I think you probably realize that a month of hanging wasn’t enough to determine its value for you. It can take that long, or longer figuring out how to best wrap and adjust the hanger, and you may have just been getting up to an effective weight when you quit. Hanging is very time-consuming, however.

Has anyone actually gained more than 3” with PE?

I mean 3” is fucking huge but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone gained that much which is sad

Here is BIB’s response to my question. Apparently he had plateaus but didn’t take breaks, just “powered” through them by hanging more weight and more time. I don’t know if I can compare my experience to BIB, since he could just be genetically able to gain more. But interesting nonetheless that some people continue gain by taking breaks, while others ramp up in intensity to work through them. Maybe both approaches work—if you plateau either take a break or do more.

wannabe7,

>My routine was 3-4 sets a day, 5 days a week, hang SO 10-12 lbs. Is this enough to see even tiny gains?<

Probably not if you have already made newbie gains. That is only 5-6 hours per week. I recommend hanging every single day, and at least ten hours per week. Further, SO is not a great primary angle. You need to find your target tissues, and work those consistantly.

>I am also a member of another forum TP and the general consensus there is that taking “decon” breaks for up to a few months is beneficial and even necessary. I’m wondering when you were hanging and gaining did you take long periods where you didn’t do any PE?<

No.

>Or did you hang everyday and gain steadily?<

I hung every day, but had plateaus.

>Did your growth happen in spurts?<

Growth reduced over time, became harder. I had to work through plateaus. I was hanging for many hours per day.

Bigger

Just wanted to say I’m taking a 2 month decon break from PE to try to get over plateau. Break started beginning of December so it’ll be end of January before I do any PE again.

It might be silly to ask, but at what angles were you hanging?

I think changing up the angles is important to give ligs, tunica, and other parts the shock that might encourage more growth.

I tried hanging straight down, BTC, and straight out.

Just wanted to update my thread. I’ve been doing hanging, don’t have any significant gains to report yet but I’ll update once I do.

Wannabe7in, how long did you take a break for in the the end? I am on my first decon break (now 3 weeks) and I am wondering when to start again. My story sort of matches yours.

gus1029, I took a break for 2 months.

2+ years with no gains for me.

Try something you never did and stick with it for at least 3 months.
