Over a year in PE and next to no gains. suggestions

Good luck!

Haha, thanks. I hear that a lot actually, but I guess it’s the whole “never enough” mentality. Somehow I’m never content with what I have if I feel I can have more (within reason).

I thought we’d dismissed propecia (finasteride) as hindering gains (?)

After puberty you’re no longer dependant on DHT for genital growth. I’ve been on it the last year - .5 mg a day (half dose)

In fact, PE isn’t about growing in the normal sense - more like deforming it slowly and in a controlled way over time.

Now: BPEL 6.75" / MSEG 5.25"

I just wanted to check as the Andro penis makers say taking propecia can effect gains. But as you say it’s been largelly dismissed and we’ve got members here who have gained when on propecia. I can’t see why DHT levels would effect growth gained via the methods we use in the PE community.

Another question: we’ve covered pumping here. Basically saying that I should wait awhile before starting pumping again. What are you guys opinions on the extender? Should I wear the extender after manual exercise sessions, or should I wait awhile? Let me know what you think.

My opinion: use the extender after you do your manual routine, light-medium tension (and mix in a few days of harder tension). The theories behind doing some sort of ADS work after your routine (healing while in an extended state) seem quite plausible. It’s something I want to get in the habit of doing myself.

That’s what I was thinking about, as well.

I decided to start PE again today. In the interest of seeing if there were any gains in the future, I decided to measure BEFORE the PE session. To my surprise, I’ve gained some girth in my time off. current erect girth is 6.375in. Erect length has remained the same. I’ll take anything, really. I figure I will measure again every 2-4 weeks to monitor gains or lack thereof.

A gain is a gain, you just have to keep trying that is all.

indeed. Even though it’s just a small gain, I think I’ve learned something about how rest periods should work with PE. Not the exact same science as weight training. Just more things to learn, I suppose.

I also wanted to add that doing fulcrum stretches made something happen that has NEVER happened with other stretching methods. My ligs popped a bit, for the first time.

Congrats on the girth gains BTB. Yep, a gain is a gain. People like us who gain so infrequently or not at all need to take the small ones we get and RUN ;)

Lig pops - hmmmm… I’ve never experienced one but I’ve only recently started stretching. Just remember - don’t pull too hard, especially on fulcrum stretches. Pulling too hard might actually trigger the defensive reaction and strengthen the tissues as opposed to elongating/stretching them… Just a thought :)

Ok… this is, very surprising. I was in such disbelief that I actually checked everything 3 times to make sure everything was accurate.

The past day or two my cock has “felt” thicker. I figured it was just my imagination, or perhaps it felt that way from the skin being a little irritated or sore from starting PE again. My EQ has also been improving, but it’s not as hard as I would like, even still (looking for a steel pipe, haha). Well, a female friend of mine also commented to me: “are those the same sweats you were wearing last time?” “yea why?” “because I don’t remember your cock looking that big in those before. it looks huge right now.” (She has told me before that she checks out my cock on the regular, and we’ve slept together in the past, so it’s not a “weird” thing with us).

So I decided this morning, I was going to measure. Curiosity got the best of me, I guess you can say. In any event, here are the measurements I took in comparison to previous ones.

BPEL: 7.5 inches (down 0.125 inches) EG: 6.5 inches (up 0.125 inches) BPFSL: 8 inches

I’m not exactly sure why my erections are harder, but my length has suffered. I’ll take the girth gains though.

Being that I’ve only been doing PE again for a few days, this is… i guess encouraging.

Interesting. Volume is augmenting, if you do your calcs. Forget that you want length most, and be happy of girth gains - or even switch to a girth-focused routine. Although girth work could make length gains harder, it can work the other way sometimes : if longitudinal layer of tunica albuginea is stronger than circular layer, than working on the latter could reduce the gap and make length gains easier. (I know it sounds confusing, but maybe you can find some some sense in this :) ).

Basically, since the girth would be pushing “outward” on the tunica, it would take less “convincing” for the tunica to stretch lengthwise. Am I understanding correctly?

Almost. Let’s figure your penis as a bicycle wheel inner tyre filled; when you have an erection, the tyre is filled with fluid (blood) and starts expanding. If the tyre is stronger length-wise than girth-wise, what you have? It will grow more in girth than in length, of course. if you go on pushing fluid, you’ll reach a point where more girth increase will become near impossible to achieve. At this stage, if you push even more fluid, the tyre will start increasing length instead than girth. Does this sounds reasonable?
