Penis Extender Numbness?

Penis Extender Numbness?

I know this thread should probably be in the penis extender forum, but as a new member I can’t post there. I was just curious to ask off any experiences numbness in the glands while using a traction based penis extender. If so, is this normal or is it a sign that something is wrong?

- Thanks everyone

This is not necessarily cause for alarm, but it may be.

There are different types of extenders so you’ll need to be a little more specific. With vac extenders, it’s not unusual to have a short period of numbness after removal followed by some heightened sensitivity for a while. In the case of clamp extenders, in order to hold you in place, it’s going to apply enough pressure to reduce circulation. The danger of wearing a clamp extender for too long at a time is extended loss of blood flow, leading to tissue damage.

Let us know what type of extender you’ve been using and what your usage habits have been. Also, how long has the numbness persisted? Once we have this information, we can try and advise.

Good way to put it. You might recover your sensation. If so, it likely will take weeks or months, at least based on my experiences. It was a good wake-up call to me.

I’ve been wearing the Pro Extender traction based PE system for about five hours a day. I use a bit of cloth wrapped around the base of the glans so that it’s a bit more comfortable. I recently started stretching to 8.25 in., a quarter past my BPEL but about 3 hours into the stretching I feel a good amount of numbness and almost loss of sensation in he glans. Is this normal with traction based extending for long hours? I typically try to squeeze in five hours of stretching and then perform my routine every night. I haven’t noticed any lack of sensitivity or loss of erection quality after removing the device, but I wanted a second opinion.

- Thanks for all the replies thus far by the way

Whether using a noose or clamp based extender, you should not be wearing it for anywhere close to that long at a time, I don’t think. Vacuum based extenders are safer to wear for extended periods like that, since they do not constrict blood flow as much, but a noose or clamp will hinder circulation to the glans. I have a vac extender (Penimaster Pro), and they recommend no more than 3 hour sessions before a break of at least 30 minutes to cycle in fresh blood and restore normal circulation.

I do not know the safe limit for use of your particular device between breaks, but I would be extremely wary of long sessions. Hopefully someone with experience with that device or one similar will chime in with a recommendation.

In the mean the, I would try cutting sessions down to an hour, then break for 15 minutes of light jelqing and massaging to restore blood flow.
