I just bought a basic air pump. It doesn’t have a gauge. I decided I wanted to see how it worked before I dropped any substantial cash on a pump. I still might get a bathmate later. But my question is for a basic pump with a squeeze-bulb mechanism, how many squeezes is typical for the normal/safe range of pressure? I know lower pressure with consistency is better, but I don’t know how to quantify that in terms of how many squeezes. Complete newb here. Advice from pumpers is appreciated.
I highly recommend you stop being ‘cheap’ with your dick and just buy a pump with a gauge. You are playing Russian Roullete with your cock if you don’t have one. Very easy to get injured from improperly pumping, and very easy to improperly pump when you don’t have a gauge to tell you what pressure you’re at. You can ‘guesstimate’ all you want, but in the end you’ll have absolutely zero idea if you’re on point with the pressure or not - and you probably wont be.
Get yourself a pump with a gauge, bro, before you hurt yourself and postpone a bigger dick for even longer. Do the research and put the time in reading the Pumper’s forum. Sounds like you have a good way to go, I suggest doing a search for threads with the title ‘Icicle’ (referring to Sta-Kool’s Icicle Diaries, the first one of the three that he made). I also recommend anything from gprent, peforeal, avocet or sparyx. Those are a few of the pump wizards that frequent here.
Highly suggest not even using your cheapo no gauge novelty pump (which probably won’t last long anyway without breaking) until you get the real thing! Don’t be impatient, just do the right thing! Good luck buddy
