I haven’t gained a lot yet, but what I do is holding my penis just as much as reaching your max flaccid length and holding it for the amount of time you want.
Maybe to give another example, compare your penis with a rope, normally the rope is loose but you can pull on it until it is like a straight line. That is the tension you need.
If you pull too hard, you will firstly get tired forearms, but also your penis will be harder to pull.

Hope it helps a bit. I am also on a journey to get it right. There are many threads where experienced explained it in detail.

I got new years gains stretching only 500g or so. It doesn’t take much at first.
