Now that I have more privacey in my own place, I will start my routine on Monday. I’ve been jelqing sporadically for about 2 weeks. I want to take it slow because in the past I’ve overdone it due to bad advice and not reading enough.

Now, after a year of being on this site, I am ready to commit and acheive my goals. But first I want to get some opinions on my routine.

I’m going to start 9/20. Right now EL is 6” and EG is 4.75”. I’m a grower for sure. My goals are anything more than what I have, but I’ll have to say 7.5x5.75 within a year and a half, depending upon the response I have to PE.

I want a routine to stick with, but my problem is how do I know when to progress. This is what I’ve been doing for the last two weeks…Really its just been a warm up and practice period.

5 min hot wrap (with wash cloth…will look to use flannel)
5 min manuel stretches (30 seconds up, down, down-left, down-right, up-left, up-right, straight out twice, down, up)
15 mins jelq (I started out at 10, but I don’t feel like it really started to get pumped until around 15 minutes. 3-5 sec strokes)
5 min hot wrap
50 Kegls

I plan to do this every other day for the first two weeks. Then 2 on and 1 off in the last two weeks.

1) Should I be going my minutes or # of strokes? Like I said, toward the end of 15 minutes is when I really feel it getting a good “pump” and when I’m done, for the just after the shaft on its red and thick, however, it’s not “hanging” like that for more than 10 minutes or less. Is this a sign that I could be doing more jelqing??

2) I’m still getting the hang of the intensity of each stroke. I think I’ve overworked my penis by stroking too hard and pushing too much, but I equate the intensity with gains, much like a gym workout. I guess it’s not really the same here, b/c I’ve done this before where I overwork it and my erections are weak.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’ll keep all posted on my progress. I want to be one of those skeptics who become an inspiring case.

Your routine sounds good to me. That is pretty much how I started out and I increased the workout gradually every 3 or 4 weeks until I hit a steady routine where I felt I had maximized the manual routine. I then stuck with that for several months until I was ready to take a break.

Whether you go with number of jelqs or timing of jelqs make sure of the quality. You don’t want to over do it to where you could injure yourself. As you become tuned in to your dick and progress you will no doubt improve on your technique and will see even greater gains.

Sounds good to me also, keep in mind though that you will either have to add time or intensity as penis conditioning takes place. I don’t really see the need in an every other day routine, but this is a personal decision for you to make. Ultimately, you need to do what is comfortable for you and adjust routine or intensity as gains slow.

I agree, too, that this doesn’t sound bad (but I’m not an expert). You’re wise to take it easy at first.

You didn’t mention what erection percentage you’re jelqing with. Don’t let it get too high or too low.

I think I’d try to increase the number of kegels and go to a 2 on/1 off schedule sooner. Back of if you start to notice erectile difficulties or newbie spots.

You could increase the jelq time to 30 minutes, just keep in mind that if the red spots appear, lay off a little. Good luck with the gains.

Thanks guys…I notice better results when I jelq at about 65% erection.

My main concern is overworking, as I’ve done in the past. That’s why I wanted to start off doing every other day and then the 2/1 off routine. I’ll stick with 15 minutes for two weeks, then increase to 20, unless I’m not getting what I call “red-hang” pump, which I’ve read is a sign of a good session. I’ve had ‘em before, but lately, haven’t been getting them.

Keep in mind, I’ve done this off and on for the last year…no more than three weeks straight though due to privacy issues.
