Preventing slippage

Hello guys,

I’m new to the forum and also new to PE. I’ve bought extender from andropenis. Com (which is quite pricey) and have been using it for a two week. I’m now getting really frustrated from using the extender because my it keeps slipping off from the head.

Is there a good way to secure the device from slipping off the head of the penis?

What type of head attachment are you using? Noose, strap, or vac?

I have an andropenis device as well. Slippage is the biggest problem that I am having as well.

I got the old kit which came with the “noose” style. The newer ones come with a noose/strap hybrid.

I been wearing it for almost 3 months and I realized that it’s easier to wear it when I need to sit for an extended amount of time. Walking seems to make it swell and become numb. Walking with it increases slippage too. I have to basically walk bow-legged for it to not slip off.

I managed to modify mine a little bit. Bear in mind that I have a relatively large head compared to the shaft. I bought a silicone sleeve off Ebay and found that it increase surface tension/stickiness, decreases how tight I have to pull the noose, adds needed girth, and the thicker side of the sleeve behind my head decreases slippage and pain alot. It may be worth a try. Currently I bought a strap mod off Ebay. Hopefully, strap + silicone sleeve = comfortable.

I don’t wear it in my sleep, some days I use it for only 4 hours and other days up to 8 hours or so. Good luck bonbonbon!

I’m using the one on the left under the box found in this image along with foam cushion:

The head of my penis is roughly the same size as the shaft so this might cause the problem? I’m using it at home while sitting/laying almost still and the slippage still occurs.

I think I should try silicone sleeve or rescue tape next.

Increase strap compression, reduce tension and /or reduce rod length. Have you tried any of these adjustments together or independently?

I agree with Little Engine. Slow is fast, fast is slow in this case.

I was tempted to use so many extensions to add to the rod at first. When I decreased the length to just the bar and smaller extension, I got the best stretch without pain and minimal slippage.

It’s also okay to increase the compression on the straps (a little interruption in circulation is inevitable) and decrease the tension of the springs. This seems counterintuitive but the theory/idea behind traction is the length of time in traction and consistency (most important), amount of tension to stretch the tissue. Then rest a day or two out of the week.

I also don’t like the head protector(tan band-aid looking thing) It increased slippage 10 folds. Instead, I have a lot of household materials (saves money), I have guaze, cotten pads, kinesiology tape or rescue tape, velcro straps, and those cotten knitted netting that go over the arm. This way I don’t go down the expensive path of “fixing” a problem that doesn’t exist.

I also like many members recorded their times in a log/note book. I use a notebook. They only measure less than monthly or even yearly! Good luck my friend, you can do this!

In the first two weeks, I wasn’t feeling much of tension so I added more length. I have to admit that I added 1cm instead of 0,5cm to the rod. As suggested that I should go slow so I removed the 0,5 from the rod but the slippage still occurs.

I use a different brand, but I’m mechanically inclined and I reckon they all work about the same…

Wrap it before you strap it, bro.

I was never able to get a grip with either of the out-of-the-box methods. I experimented with different materials to wrap before securing and have been using non-adhesive silicone tape [i.e. ResQ Tape]. It’s been working pretty darn good, for me. Of course it’s still finicky geometry we’re dealing with here and it doesn’t always work on the first attempt, but when I do get it just right I can crank the adjustment rods all the way out and stretch for up to 2 hours without a break.

Experiment with different materials and the two different securement methods. Eventually, you’ll find something that works.

It took me over 2 months before I got a hold of the slippage. I still get the occasional slippage (wearing it 201 hours in 57 days total time)

I had to reduce the bar quite a bit at first. I had to stop myself from comparing to the pictures online because my bar was so short in comparison. It’s okay to wear it without any extensions at first. You can gradually increase the tension (You will likely have to strap it down with greater pressure for it to stay on). Then, you can slowly add additional extensions. Take a day to adjust, experiment with different techniques like being partially erect.

I realized that I am better off with the noose(less slippage/easier to increase tension for me), while most guys like the strap. I used a foam sleeve(toe protector you can find in Foot Care aisle), made cut outs to increase the girth if it. I then used kenisiology tape and cut it into strips. I carefully layered the strips(without constricting the foam sleeve) until there was a very raised area on the sleeve. This raised area prevented the noose from slipping over my head. The downside is, it may chafe the skin on your midshaft. I used this DIY foam sleeve and tape for a month before I bought the silicone sleeve. I prefer the silicone sleeve. It made it much more comfortable. I wear my device 30 mins to 2 hours at a time. No more than 2 hours to check circulation. Good luck bonbonbon.

I just bought the silicone tape which is similar to ResQ tape and now using it. No slippage of any kind BUT it’s not comfortable. I think something cushy should be under the silicone tape. Anyhow, I’m happy so far. It’s time to stretch the bad boi real good. :)

Lol, that item looks interesting. Essentially, I see a girdle with laces that can be tugged. Most items can be recreated in the house. I was looking at something similar to help cement gains. Can’t say if it’s worth it or not.

What’s the nature of the discomfort? Maybe we can offer advice to fine tune your set-up…

I wrapped with a sock with my X4 before using the strap and it was a world of difference. You just need a few inches of tube sock, not the whole sock.

Hi Bonbonbon!
About the “slipping” you can use a piece of tissue (cotton) plus 2-3 bands (pic).
It helps a lot ..so the head of your penis will stay in place in the extender.
