So you buy the cyl almost anywhere, buy the brake bleeder from HarFreight, now the only down side to this is finding the male insert for the 1/8 fitting on top of your cylinder, they all use the same type click in fittings. I just checked Mcmaster Carr and they used to have them separately but don’t see them now. I’ll check agin later, BUT they have lost their minds on prices lately I used them a lot 5 years ago, but now?. So anyway, maybe the kit from anyone will work for you, just don’t limit it to one company. They are all about the same except the old LA Pumps and Boston Pump brands. Also if you buy the cylinder from anyone carefully remove the valve fitting from the tip and use some silicone sealer or if you can find it, urethane adhesive, clear is nicer, and with a tooth pick or small tool lightly coat both the threads on the cyl. and on the fitting being careful not to goop up the hole in the center where the valve is, and reinsert. Do no turn in to too tight just snug it in and another 1/8 turn. Most of these inexpensive cylinders are drilled and tapped, and when done in polycarbonate or perspex without annealing the drilled area joints will all eventually fail with cracking due stress risers that come from the loads put on them through vacuum/pressure cycles. Don’t ask how I know.
So now you have some options but none are zero $ unfortunately. Good luck.
