Quick question on jelqing blood flow

Hey guys,

I’m sure the answer to this question is obvious but I just started PE and to be honest, it scares the crap out of me (I’ve read some horror stories). So, I want to double check that I’m doing stuff right.

I did some jelqing today, and when I do it, I feel my penis get “warmer” as I milk the blood up towards the glans. Is this normal? I assume this is just the normal feeling of blood flow but I am taking zero chances when it comes to my penis.

I too don’t feel this ‘warmer’ sensation, but don’t necessarily think it is really bad or anything. I’m assuming you are on the Newbie Routine and if that is the case remember to take rest days. They will not only help you remain injury free, but they are essential for good gains. Tough for some though as they get the mentality that they want lots of gains and they want them now, so they don’t rest enough and then actually slow their gains. I too am putting the safety of my penis and it’s health as my number 1, and I highly recommend you watching the videos by Ocifar. They helped me greatly and made me feel more comfortable about trying the exercises as I felt better about doing them correctly. Good luck!

Maybe warmer is the wrong word. I think I just feel something move up and enter the glans and since blood is warm it gives a warming sensation. I’m assuming that’s what people mean when they say they feel the blood flow?

First of all, let me Welcome you, an older Newbie from an APR07 Newbie.

Inquis, are you doing warm-ups and warm-downs, before and after you do your routines? If not, you should. If you are it just may be the warmness you feel from that.

However, when I first first started out I also felt a warming “movement”, but I just assumed that it was the warm blood moving and what was supposed to be happening and the whole point of the routine. I’m no longer aware of it now. I think there would be a problem if there was a “cold” sensation, so don’t worry about it.

this is a good time to complete your PE Statistics to help keep a record of you gains and progress, and to show others your Routine. It’s easy. Just click the “quick link” at the top and then click on “PE Statistics.

Good Luck and Good PEing.

Thanks for the welcome Panos, I like how willing to help everyone is on these forums :)

I’m glad to hear this feeling is normal- I assumed it was because there isn’t any pain or anything. As for the warm-up, I take a hot shower before I start my PE- I haven’t done much in terms of warm-down though. Perhaps I should start. My PE routine is very light- I am doing the new newbie and I only do about 15-20 jelqs. There is some down time between the jelqs though- sometimes to get more or less erect, but I assume that’s ok?

Doing a warm down is a god idea as it will help prevent injury from occurring. Lastly, I am not sure if 15-20 jelqs is enough to see reasonable gains as it just seems like so few to me. If you have been getting gains though from it then what do I know :) . Perhaps might be better to wait and see if a veteran member gives his opinion on this.

If you’re scared start with like 100 Jelqs, that’s what I did because I injured easily in the past.

A month later I’m up to 200 Jelqs and I’ll be up to 300 soon.

Inqis, I think that is why we are all here, especially the members here at TP. It is more like a brotherhood with the majority really caring about the others.

Warm-down are JUST AS IMPORTANT as the warm-ups, so don’t slight them. The warm-ups help to get ready for the routines, the warm-down are a way to help heal the “damage” which is what the routines are all about. The little breakdowns heal over night and help length and girth.

I am now splitting my routines and doing in between warm-ups as well, and I think it has helped at lot.

WARM-UPS:
These are done with a “Playtex Insulator” baby bottle which I got at Walgreen’s Drug Store for $2.99. I got my inspiration from “Luka’s Warm Up Bottle” thread. The Playtex bottle is “insulated” because it has an air pocket between the outside and inside layers of the bottle. I screwed off the non-spill sipper top and use only the container. I fill it about 1/2+ full with warm water and then put my cock inside. Then lean over and push the bottle up to my pubes. It then makes a suction. I hold it there with my cock in the warm water for about 10 minutes.

WARM-DOWNS and in between WARMS-UPS:
These are done with a Warm Rice Sox. Take a white cotton sox and fill it about 1/2 full with raw rice (not Uncle Ben’s), and tie a knot in the top of the sox. It should be just full enough for you to flatten out the sox and also for it to be malleable so you can massage the warm rice around your cock which is good for helping to heal. I put it in the microwave, flattened out, on high for 30 sec., turn the sox over and then another 30 sec. on that side. Watch so that it doesn’t catch fire! I then roll up the sox in a cotton hand towel. I then lie down and wrap it around my cock. As it cools, I just unwrap it a bit to a warmer part of the towel. Take care to keep the heat away from you balls. Not a good thing!

I am still on the Newbie Routine, but I have upped my repetitions, etc., and recently I have added a few other things including pumping. I am now PEing for about 90 minutes day. Sometimes I split the routing between the morning and the afternoon. You can check out my routine, if you would like.

And, yes, I have to have some down times too, to get the old boy up again. :) But, I just tell him, “do it for me now, and I will do something nice for you latter!” :)
And, it usually works. I just pat him on the head and say “Good Boy, Good Boy!”

LOL.
Panos, an hour and a half of PE? That’s a lot of work man. I’ve read that doing a routine for longer than an hour (if it is manual movements) is not as beneficial because you start doing quantity instead of quality and most of it becomes a waste.
Just my 2 cents.

Obsession is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated.

Well, a lot of the 90 minutes includes warm-up/warm-down times, and I split my routine between the morning and the evening. The longest at one time is my 25 minute jelq time, which I don’t split.

AM:
(30 to 38 min [depending] doing “actual” routines plus 25/- minutes of warm-up/downs)
10 min warm-up
15 min Manual Stretches
4-6 min. Circular stretches (usually less as you, aom91 said it would)
5 min warm-up
3-5 min V Stretches
4-6 min Jai Stretches
Pumping 3min at 2-5Hg x 2 sets
10 min Warm-down and penis massage

PM:
(34 minutes doing “actual” routines plus 23/- minutes of warm-up/downs)
10 minute warm-ups
25 minute Jelq (slow at 3-5sec. each)
3 minutes Jelq Squeezes
15 min warm-down and penis massage
Pumping 3 min at 2-5Hg x 2 sets
10 min warm-down and penis massage

If you add up the actual exercises times, they would total 72+/- min.
The warm-up/down times fluctuate and are never actual times. I usually watch TV at these times and sometimes they are less and other times more.
I take my time, don’t rush or over due anything and watch that I do the routines correctly. I am not interested in quantity at all.
For the time being, it seems to be working for me. When it doesn’t, then I will change routines.

What do you think, aom91? Please, I respect your thoughts and guidance.

Whom, nice routine, you don’t do this everyday do you?
I don’t want to sound like a party pooper but it seems to be a bit much, but each his own, don’t over do, you’ll ware out your dick and have to take a decon break. Actually if you were jelqing really fast and gripping to hard that would be a danger. The slow jelqs are great! Warms ups in long duration is probably a great safety mechanism. Carefull with the “V” stretches, but thier fun!

How long have you been PE”N?

No, I do the routines so I can have my Sundays off.
I do a 3 day on (Mon/Tue/Wed)/1 off (Thur)
and a 2 day on (Fri/Sat)/1 day off (Sun)

The morning and afternoon sessions are not really much work, and the time goes really fast. I am really flexable in that if a work day schedule gets in my way, I just take an extra day off. It has only happened a few time so far, though.

I started off with 2-3 sec. jelqs, but now I am up to 3-5 sec.(mostly 5 sec. ones) with long, slow strokes with a medium hold grasp. I got this from reading your threads and postings, kingpole, and have tried to follow it.

I have added the extra warm-ups/warm-downs since I think they are very important.

The V Stretches I hold for 5 to 10 sec. and have been diligent not to be too rough, so they are “Gentle” V. Stretches for the time being. Actually, I haven’t what it takes to do a “real” V Stretch :( but I hope soon I WILL have what it takes. :)

I started my PEing on APR 7th, but really use the date of APR 9th as my starting date, so it has now been 6 weeks. It seems like years that I’ve been around doing this stuff! It’s all fun!

Well, our divorce wasn’t anything that either of us wanted, but it’s water over the bridge. It’s been some time now, but my wife is now married to someone else and lives in Hong Kong, as does our son.

The only one to whom I have to answer these days is Buddy, my big male cat. And, he doesn’t care as long as I keep him feed, brushed, and happy.

However, if my ex-wife were still around, I am sure she would have been very supportive of my PEing. She was like that, a wonderful, wonderful Lady with a capital “L.” I miss her!
