Yes i tried semi erect but erections are not the easiest for me at the moment as I’m dealing with some ED. Does entering the tube erect take away some of the shock from blood being forced into the penis by the pump because the erection is already doing that?

That is exactly what I am thinking, but I don’t know for sure. But that is how I do it and I am guessing that most guys also practice this method.

One way to get a good semi is to do helicopter spins. Do this while standing. First manually stretch your cock for a bit and then do a very light OK grip at the base with your dominant hand and and spin your cock in a circular motion to centrifuge blood into your cock. Do this for 30 to 60 seconds or until you get engorged. This is also great for making a very nice flaccid hang when you need it. :)


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Ok thanks, I’ll give it a go. I’m wondering if maybe also my warm up is too hot, would that be a possibility? Generally I should be going for warm water, not hot right? The water should be at a temperature you would be able to take a shower in no problem right?

Hey man just pumped at 2.5hg for 5min with a semi. I had very minimal dots, hardly noticeable. Do you think it’s safe to start a 1 day on 1 day off routine now at those settings? You shouldn’t have any dots. Slow your routine down after taking a few weeks off.

Just took 20 days off pumping. I pumped today for 5 minutes at 2.5hg. No red dots. Looks like I found my starting point for conditioning. Not sure if it helped but I tried going in with no warm up this time.

Always use heat.

Hi Tim,
Just came across your thread and this reply is quite late, but hopefully it will help you or anyone else reading that has a similar issue. This happened to me when I started pumping but I got the red dots at about 4 - 6hg.
What I realized was that my skin wasn’t free to expand properly at the base of my shaft so it ended up pulling and causing too much resistance, which in turn caused that effect. To remedy this, I added lubricant or baby oil to my penis and scrotum (especially the base of the shaft where it meets the base of the pump) in order to allow the skin at the base to naturally slide into the pump as needed while being pumped, while still maintaining a good seal, to cause comfortable expansion. No red dots after this, even at higher pressures of 7hg. I never go beyond 7.
I also increase the pressure gradually - a few half pumps at a time, let it expand for a couple of seconds, and repeat until I reach the desired pressure.
