Red Rockets Progress: fresh start

Red Rockets Progress: fresh start

I’ve done PE before, I decided to however go with the slow and steady route and will be using the linear beginner routine which starts very light with something like 10-20 jelqs and warming up and warming down for the entire workout. Ill slowly build up but mainly wanted to make a thread of my progress so that I can keep others updated but also to keep track myself and will be taking measurements in the beginning once every two weeks.

My stats are as follows
My beginning

Flaccid length: 3.85”
Flaccid girth: 3.9”
Erect Length: 5.85”
Erect girth(mid): 4.5”

Note that I took my measurements without pushing into the skin and measured length from the top of the penis.
Wish me luck

First goals

Erect length: 6.5”
Erect girth: 5.0”

Welcome back! Wish you nothing but great gains and a healthy unit.

Checking back in and have been good about keeping steady and consistent on my sessions. As the linear approach is a a slow and steady wins the race approach I’m not sure if I should even expect to see some gains. Also I tried to measure a couple times but finally measured today. The measurements were as follows,

Erect girth: 4.6”
Erect length: 6”

A couple notes on why I only have two measurements and how I attained the results. When measuring my length I do a curve that is similar to a C facing my body. Keep in mind its not nearly as profound as an actual C but still relevant. When measuring length I’ve taken the approach of ignoring the curve and measuring in a straight line from base to tip. When measuring girth I always go somewhere midshaft and have gotten some variability in my measurements. Now the issue comes from the fact that I use a hoodie string to do my measurements and I try to pull the string tight but its hard to be consistent on the measurements. I don’t want to strangle my unit and squeeze the crap out of the string to get my girth measurement. I also don’t know how to go about measuring length with curve because its hard to get all the slack out of the string. The string measuring is also why I have issues with measuring my flaccid length coupled with the fact that there is so much variability in how much blood is in my flaccid unit. Essentially I’m having issues with measuring consistently and would love some tips for anyone who happens upon this thread.

Finally the progress of my routine is just simply increasing number of jelq’s slowly from 20 to 55 yesterday and tomorrow it will be 60. According to the linear routine I should add in a single stretch every week even though its not necessary so I’m thinking I will add that in as well. I usually try to do a wet warm up if at all possible but have done dry warm ups over these past couple weeks. If anyone has any advice or tips they will be greatly appreciated. I hope you all are staying safe during this crisis and sorry if this post is a bit dry but regardless more gains to you and please to your partner.

The red rocket

Any elastic containing material is not suitable for accurate measurement.

A tailer’s tape for girth. They’re around $1.00 at Walmart, Amazon, everywhere. Shorten it to 10 or 12” to make it more manageable. Compare it to your hard ruler to make sure they are both accurate, or at least generating the same results.

A hard ruler for length, plastic, wooden or metal. $2 to $4 everywhere. Make sure the measurement starts at the edge of the ruler. Some rulers show the zero line about 1/8” in from the edge. If yours has the unmeasured gap, just measure it and remember to add it back to the measurement you take.

Measuring from base to penis tip for a curved penis is not an accurate measurement of length. For a slight curve, just straighten your penis with your hand against the ruler. For a curve which you cannot easily straighten, use the tailer tape to measure the NBPEL by following the curve of the penis with the tape and the hard ruler to measure your fat pad. Just add the two values together to get BPEL.

For clarity, BPEL is the best measurement to use to track PE progress. The thickness of your fat pad can change with weight gain or loss, so understanding how thick your fat pad is is important. You want to know whether the 1/4” gain in NBPEL is from PE and or from weight loss to know if your PE program is working effectively.

Having said that, reducing fat pad can/should be part of your PE goals.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7.75” BPEL; 7.25” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Thank you so much 32quarters for all the tips and advice. I have for sure not been measuring pressing into the base of the penis and instead have been doing so from my fat pad. I actually use a tape measure but it seems as though ill need to make a trip to Walmart or Dollar General because I will be needing both measurements as my curve is not one that can be straightened. What method do you recommend when measuring flaccid lengths as there is variability due to blood flow temperature and other factors? I was thinking of doing a helicopter twirl for about 10-15 seconds so that its more uniform every time I measure the flaccid length.

Progress update:
I have begun to sometimes incorporate a straight out stretch or helicopter shakes as a stretch or to increase blood flow. I have also gotten much more used to the erection level needed for jelqs. I have also seen a clear improvement in my erection quality and have been getting hard more frequently so these would be positive PI’s. I’m going to wait another week until next Wednesday to post my results but so far so good. I’m at 60 jelqs a session now and I’m going to stay at this amount until at least next week and most likely for the foreseeable future until my gains stop. I’m also conflicted on if the gains are real or not because of how poor my measuring method is. Look forward to any other comments on this thread and appreciate all of them.

Until next time,
Red Rocket

Good question on how/when to measure your flaccid. I do not think I have seen a guideline on how to do so. I’ll share what I do.

Before this I want to make a point about the use and value of measuring. In my opinion, the value of measuring is not so you can share (brag) to others. The value is to you alone so you can have a firm base measurement to compare to. Some guys have asked how hard do I press the ruler? The answer is not so hard that it is painful. What you are looking for is consistency, so you have confidence that this measurement is done just as you did the previous few measurements.

Some guys, for whatever reason, are unable to measure at the top of their penis. They measure to the side. Again, the objective is consistency. You want to have confidence that your 1/4” gain is true gain and not a measurement error.

So back to measuring flaccid. My flaccid does change a bit over the course of the day, what I am doing and what I am wearing. I have found that a slight stretch and a gentle firegoat roll tends to get my flaccid to a more natural state. For flaccid, I measure BPFSL and NBPFL. Bone pressed flaccid stretched length is a useful data point on progress, and non bone pressed flaccid stretched length is mostly for my ego. Most of my life I was a grower and now am a shower.

Again, whichever process you decide to use just be consistent.

As to you concern that you havent yet had a good measurement, take it now and record it. Or just pick one you think is close and live with it.

You may also want to take a pic just for your future comparison. No requirement to post it.

Here’s a thread you may find useful:

Good Luck on Your Journey. This forum is packed with Wise and Supportive PE Veterans.

Use the search function, virtually everything has been discussed already.

Starting (07/15/20): BPEL 6.5” BPFSL 6.5” MSEG 4.75” BEG 4.75” BPFL 4.5”

Current (10/27/20): BPEL 7.0” BPFSL 7.5” MSEG 5.0”+ BEG 5.25” BPFL 5.25-5.75”

Goal: BPEL 7.5” MSEG 5.5” BEG 6.0” BPFL 6.5”

Thanks so much again 32quarters, a lot of useful information. I’ll make sure to use the search function for more questions in the future. Also I have made this thread so I can see the growth and to make sure I stay on track and have accountability. My intention has never been to brag as that’s not something I’ve ever been fond of throughout my lifetime. But regardless of it all thank you a lot and I’ll measure to get my baselines so that I know. I think I might even take a video/picture for personal reference just so I know for a fact I’m doing the same things. Thank you so much.

Whoops, typing too fast and made an error. Added an extra “stretched” which doesnt make sense.
Incorrect:

Should have read:

So I used the measuring method correctly I think that 32quarters described. Hopefully these measurements are more accurate

Fat pad measurement: 0.6” (this was surprising considering I’m kinda fit, not like I have a 6 pack but I’m in shape)
Flaccid length: 4.25”
Flaccid girth: 4.0”
Erect length:6.0”
Erect girth: 4.5”
Bone pressed erect length: 6.6”

I’m feeling like my regular flaccid size has been bigger and usually wake up with morning wood as well. However on this fine morning I didn’t have morning wood which was weird. Also I had trouble in my routine staying at a jelq erection. I’m up to 65 jelqs and 1 stretch for about 30 seconds. Currently along with working towards my goal of a bigger unit I’m also hoping to increase my erection quality as well as help with my precum or leakage.
