Removing circumcision scar

I know this isn’t the best place for this post, but since I am new here, this is the only place I can post this.

Has anyone had any luck removing their circumcision scar? It is not the biggest deal in the world to me, but it would be nice if there is a way. Right now I have three different colors on my dick. The base is tan, like my normal skin color, the scar is a bit darker, and the top is a lot lighter.

If there isn’t a way, does anyone know how to make it less noticeable? Do I put my dick in a tanning bed?

Hello. Have you got circumcised recently, or long ago? Is it only about color or form/smoothness, too?

I was circumcised when I was born. However, the scar is still very present. Smoothness is not an issue, it is just the color.

Its became more discolored after a period of P.E ?

In case it is its called hematoma [I also have it]. You can ask your doctor for cream to fix it.

Sorry, I guess I should have clarified a bit more. It has always been this way. Even before PE.

I tanned my dick until the scar no longer stod out as much, looks nice now, I used tin foil to cover the top of the penis and the scar while the rest of the shaft was out in the sunlight. About 4 hours per day sitting down playing videogames with my dick out in the sun coming from the window. I haven’t needed to redo it, the tanning became permanent.

I guess you can also use anti scar creams or whitening creams and such but I haven’t done any of that.

The wife and I are talking about getting a tanning package this winter. I have never tanned before since I have darker skin but I might give this a try! Especially if the results seem to be permanent.

Mature scars can also flatten out as they go through this aging process, but it’s important to note that scars will never go away completely. Even with some scar treatments, the appearance will be improved, but they will never totally disappear because the skin composition is different from the surrounding tissues.Feb

It *can* be done - there is a process called “cosmetic circumcision” where, best as I can tell, a ring of skin is removed at the base of the shaft and somehow the foreskin is pulled down the shaft instead of being cut off. None of the web sites I looked at were very clear about how it was supposed to work. (~2 years ago)

I was interested in it as a way to deal with some severe scarring I had, but I’m in the middle of the country and at the time it looked like the only urologists doing the procedure were either in NYC or LA.

They could use the same remove-a-ring procedure just at the circumcision scar. Note you’ll wind up with the skin on your shaft that much shorter, which will be pulled up from the abdomen unless you stretch the skin.

I was curious about loss of feeling past where the skin was sewn back together, but none of the web sites addressed that.

Wow, I didn’t know there was surgical options. I don’t think I will try that anytime soon, but it is nice to know it is there. With that said, I think I am going to just try and tan nude.
