I’ve used it now for 4 months and have gained 0.8 inches in length so far. The routine I use is 15 min straight out and then 15 min down at fulcrum point 2. I do this twice a day and never miss a day. Also rest at least 30 min in between. This is the protocol they list as well.
Pros:
1. It has a tension white line on each piston so you know you are maintaining tension. I have found I will start and within a few min I have to adjust for more tension. I was never aware of how quickly I would adjust and lose tension when wearing my X4.
2. It also has a fulcrum which I use against my curve and gives a fantastic stretch.
3. Instead of a noose it has a large sandwich board where the head goes. I first wrap the head with 1 inch of theraband then wrap with 1 inch of ace bandage and it stays perfectly. It feels like a much more even stretch then the noose style X4. The noose on my X4 would always heat up from my body and loosen or warp. If you are uncircumcised this gets around a lot of issues with the noose.
4. It is highly customizable. Each point from the ring, pistons to sandwich board is customizable to you. They have a booklet and 80% of it tells you how to customize. For example I had to adjust the fulcrum to fit where my curve was. No other device I know of can do this.
5. There are actual (small) studies that appear to be of ok quality backing this up. Few other devices/methods in our world can say that.
6. Time: even other devices that have studies that have shown gains required users to wear it for 6 hours. That’s a lot even if it’s more discrete (see below)
Cons:
1. Cost: it’s 500 US, making it the most expensive extender I am aware of
2. It is bulky, there is no way you can hide it.
Overall: restorex is not talked about nearly enough on the forums. It is one of the most studied devices and is in a class by itself in my opinion. If you are looking for reliable gains and have the money and do not require discreet extension, you should try this device. If you have Peyrone or a curve this is one of the only devices that attempts to address it.
