Returning After 1+ Year Hiatus

Hey guys,

So a deconditioning break has eventually lead to becoming incredibly lazy, and so I ended up quitting PE for at least a year and a half. I think its been over a few years since I’ve consistently done it for more than a month straight. I’d like to get back into it, but I am curious if you guys think I am a candidate for the newbie routine after a break this long? I was doing some advanced exercises last, but I quit because I kept hurting myself. I haven’t lost any girth and maybe 1/2” length tops.

I can’t say for certain, but I know it can’t hurt to start back with the newbie routine. On the other hand, I didn’t after a break and have suffered no bad consequences. I started hanging right away and I ramped up my weights and hang time pretty fast, mostly from knowing what things can and should feel like.

In either case, welcome back and good luck!

Rock out with your cock out!

The important point is that you should start something ..

Go ahead and start with the Newbie routine it is about a close as you will ever come to the balance between effective and safe.
If you were injuring yourself before .. Then start keeping better records and keep close track of when you see the warning signs and then back off when you do.

Good luck .
