Round vs elliptical cylinders

Round vs elliptical cylinders

Hi all,

New to this space, so please bear with me.

I started doing Manual stretching and jelqing exercises a few years ago, but then gave up due to time constraints. I also purchased a bathmate but found the design was a bit awkward, so I am a total newbie when it comes to pumping and PE in general.
I recently discovered LAPump and Thickwall Cylinders and am seriously contemplating purchasing a pump. I see that LA Pump do an elliptical cylinder which I am interested in, and would be grateful for your thoughts on round vs elliptical cyclinders (I’m shaped more towards elliptical, I would say). Is there one that offers more comfort and is considered to be the ‘safer’ option?
(I’m from the UK, but I don’t mind the extra time it might take for the pump to be delivered from the US).

Many thanks!
Lem

My elliptical works best for me because I’m more oval-shaped and wider than I am tall down there, so the seal is much better with elliptical, I don’t have really any scrotum pulled in at all, and I have a nice even pump going on. In a round cylinder the sides of my cock are pressed hard against the sides of the tube and it forces my cock to expand top and bottom, which is not the shape of my cock. It feels cool, its like “this is not my cock!” kind of feeling, and that’s fun. But I’m not really getting anywhere with the round tube.

If you care about a perfect seal and expanding more along the lines of your natural erection shape, go with elliptical. They are expensive but high quality (LA Pump is what I have) and more than worth every penny :)

Starting length, Spring 2003: bpel 6 3/8", bpfsl ~6 1/2", flaccid ~3-4" (never measured flaccid stretched or hanging flaccid; starting girth was probably ~5"-5 1/4")

Summer 2004: bpel 7 7/8", bpfsl 8 1/8", flaccid ~4", erect girth 5.3"

Spring 2018: bpel 7 1/4", bpfsl 7 5/8", erect girth 5 1/8"; Spring 2020: bpel 7 3/4", bpfsl 8", erect girth 5 3/8". Current - August 2023: bpel 7 3/4", bpfsl 8", erect girth mid shaft 5 1/4" (5 1/2" at base)

Hey Pumpedmember! How about sizing? For example, If I am currently in a 2in cylinder, should I invest in the same size or size up/down?

I was (well I still use from time to time for just effect and fun) using a 1.75” leluv round and almost fully packing it, so I went with what LA Pump sells as the equivalent of a 1.75” cylinder but as an elliptical. Its perfect, I can tell that its spot on for me. I think you can tell them at LA Pump to adjust the width or height a tiny bit, not sure. But if you are packing a 2” cylinder maybe you’d look at the next comparable size up on LA Pump and go with that if you need room to expand. Or, if you can’t pack a 2” because of your shape, an elliptical equivalent of 2” diameter should help. Up to you though on where you are at in a round cylinder and what to do about expanding more.

LAPump elliptical cylinders are listed as having a slight range of measurements for both the long and short “diameters.” Accordingly, you can’t be sure of the exact measurement. I have a round 2” LeLov cylinder and a 1.75” LAPump elliptical cylinder and for my elliptical shaped erection, I find the 1.75” elliptical cylinder to be slightly bigger than the 2” round LeLuv cylinder.

Start 11/09 BPEL: 5.5", EG: 4.4"

Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"

Do you recommend the elliptical cylinder then too? Or see it worth the price?

Thanks everyone!

Wasn’t expecting that many replies, but these are really helpful. My girth measures around 4.6inches - any recommendations on which size I should go for in an elliptical?

Best,
Lem

Just got my elliptical from LAP but purchased thru shevibe. Less money and shipping than the LAP website.

I much prefer it to my round cylinder after using it a handful of times.
