Should I lose weight before PE or do both

Cool, congrats on your weight loss and the other gain.

Thanks for the advice everyone, epically TheGreatDivder. I’ve decided to combine workouts for weight loss and PE, since I should have less time constraints after this week. Also I remeasured, everything seems to be the same expect the base girth which is about 5.8 instead of 6 (still thick though), mid girth should be a bigger target anyway.

My goal is:

7.5” NBPEL 8” BPEL x 6” MSEG

Started: 6" NBPEL 7.2" BPEL x 5.6" MSEG

Current: 6.7" NBPEL 8.26" BPEL x 5.75" MSEG

Goal: 8" NBPEL x 6" MSEG >> Progress log and pictures

Dam, I have been having a big problem lately with my EQ and sex drive over the past week and a half. My sex drive had sky rocketed for over a month and now it’s completely gone :( , also am having trouble getting a decent erection that lasts long and I cannot even do jelqs at the moment since I seem to be keep getting flaccid very quickly. I have been pretty depressed lately as well, but that always happens to me at random times, usually when I am depressed I never had problems with EQ or libido though.

How much are you eating at this time?

Do you have a family history of depression or bipolar disorder?

I have been eating less since late September, and alot less around Oct after I moved out.

History of depression seems to happen on my father’s side, both of his parents had failed suicide attempts.

You may want to get yourself checked out for depression or bipolar disorder. There is a higher chance you may have an inherited something that could causing some of this.

I was diagnosed a little over a year ago and rediagnosed with cyclothymia (rapid cycling bipolar disorder). To me it was a big relief because with a small Rx I was finally able to control my emotions and my weight after emotional eating for the serotonin release, ie eating starches when you don’t want to but somehow you can’t stop.

The good news was that I had just a fraction of what my parents had, but still had a suicidal tendencies at very stressful times without the medication. Now I know others on here will tell you to just eat clean and get some exercise or that this is S.A.D. related but for the millions suffering from chemical depression that may not be enough in the long run, for me it sure wasn’t.

Depending on what the doctors say you may be able to just cope with some strategies that anyone can use, but if you are assigned a medication TAKE IT and see how you feel with in a month or so. You may need to go back a few times for blood tests to make sure the medication isn’t causing any serious side efects or if it’s working at all. I remember how I couldn’t even taste food I was so depressed until everything leveled out, then the only obstacle was controlling carbs because some of the medications can trick you into thinking you need more starches than you are hungry for.

Another possibility is diet, with anything serious like a low carb diet especially around the holidays when there is lower levels of sunlight and the cold weather kicks up a heavy dose of ghrelin. Many people respond by shutting themselves inside, eating tons of starches or sweets, and basically hybernating. If you take away too much starches at a time when your body’s natural responce is to eat more, you may be stressing yourself out too much. There are some methods I have learned over the years that can help you here.

Good luck and please don’t ignore my advice! Because chances are you need to get checked out if you’ve been feeling depressed for more than 4-7 days whithout any signs of getting better. I know lack of interest in food or overconsumption is always a big indicator for me that I about to spiral down very fast.

Thanks, I will check with the doctor within a few days time, if am still feeling low and having trouble getting out of bed while still being disinterested with stuff that used to interest me. I defiantly might need be to on medication this time, to get a kick start on getting better.

That sounds exactly like me before I take my meds or get any caffeine. You’ll still be yourself when you’re medicated but you won’t be so depressed for no reason.

Yeah, hopefully I should be still be myself and appear more happier in the long run, if I do take meds.

I’ve been on them for a while now and have plenty of friends and family with medicated depression so if you have any questions….

The only advice I can give you with some of the mood stabalizers and some antidepressants is that you may need a little extra caffeine to keep you above the slacker happy median.

Thanks again TGD, I’ll take note on needing more caffeine if I get too mellow.

My experience with doing both at the same time, that is a reduced calorie diet(about 500-750 calories below maintenance) combined with cardio and calisthenics, is that after a week or two I would have trouble maintaining a high enough erection level to properly jelq. Soon as I returned to eating enough calories to maintain my weight the problem stopped. Everyone is different though so listen to your body, just my $0.02.

Small update, I’ve seen the doctor and now am on medication and my sex drive is slowly going back to normal. Also last night I remeasured since my fat pad seemed less firm then usual and the EQ seemed better then the last measurement, my bone pressed erect length is 7.5” while the girth is same but the none bone press length is just a tiny bit over 6”.

I’ve started doing jelqs and stretches, but am worried if jelqs only make the non-bone pressed length bigger.

I’ve had luck with cardio when I was cycling and using a exercise bike at my old place, sadly I have not done too much cardio for a while and it does make a difference.

Not that this got anything to do with the topic in the thread but Manchester united is hardly the most valuable team in the world. They are among the top teams but far from the most valuable.

To the thread topic; As other already have stated 7x6 is a good size. Loose some weight and do the newbie routine at the same time. The newbie routine doesn’t take much time but you should probably mainly focus on exercising and loosing weight if you are feeling depressed. Exercise is probably the best medicine against depression. The endorphins the body produces when working out keeps you happy, you sleep better and your overall health improves. These are things that also makes you gain faster when you PE.

Good luck to you.

Do a little homework .. At $1.86 billion, Manchester united is the most valuable sports team in the world; beating the Dallas cowboys by close to $5 million.

Current: 7.50 BPEL, 6.00 MEG

Yea ok, my bad. In valuable I didn’t think of money. I was thinking more of valuable players, how well the team play the sport. How many games and titles they win etc. Valuable in the meaning of the sport, not money. I didn’t realize the word valuable only referred to money, not having English as first language mess things up sometimes.

Another reason to why I didn’t think about money is probably because I think the money are destroying the sport. There should be a limit to how much money a player can make. The numbers are insane today, Just look at Beckhams contract in USA - ridiculous.

But you are right, Manchester United is the club with most money. But they are far from the best club at playing soccer and that’s what I thought most valuable ment. How stupid of me hehe.
