I’ve wondered about the "shower vs grower" thing and what causes it. Yes, I’m a grower, but it sure would be nice to have my flaccid size be the same as my erect size.

So I did a search and found a few articles like this:

But it has to do with the elasticity of the tissues and that has to do with the collagen content of the tissue. For some men the proportion of collagen is different than others. For example, in men with erectile dysfunction, studies show that there are changes to the penis in the proportion of collagen fibers, and that effects how stretchable the tissue is. Some people are born with more stretchable tissues.

Focusing my search on "shower grower collagen" gave me articles like this:

Questions: Does anyone agree with this theory? (Or could it be something else?) And if it is collagen elasticity, how can we improve it? What can we do about it?

Sounds legit.

If your dick is elastic and stretchable, it can hold more blood and get stretched easily by the blood.

However if you lack elasticity then your penis will not allow the blood to stretch him.

I’ve never seen any study or topic about how much and fast extreme grower and extreme shower can gain. For example, going from 2 inches to 6 inches, and going from 7 inches to 7.5 inches. That would be really important comparison for understanding how PE works.


Starting : 7.6 BPEL, 5.5 MEG

Current: 8.1 BPEL, 5.7 MEG

Goal: To understand what makes penis to grow.

I just know from doing PE (mainly stretching), I’ve become more of a shower than I was before, which also seems to be a common trend.


Current: BPEL 8"/NBPEL 6.75" MEG 5.2", BPFL 6.75"/NBPFL 5.5" FG 4.5"

And of course, there’s low-dose Cialis which makes for a larger than usual flaccid state. (I think Cialis works by increasing nitric acid which in turn allows more blood flow into the penis - so a low dose essentially makes you “semi” ?)

But yea, I’m hoping stretching will help make me less of a “grower”

Interesting.
A lot of guys told me that cialis/viagra wont benefit me if i dont need it.
And it can even make me dependent on them for erections.

I vaguely recall reading somewhere that having too much collagen in the tunica albuginea’s matrix was strongly correlated with Peyronie’s Disease.

I do think it’s a potential factor, but I really think it has more to do with the fasciae being contractile (actively wanting to reign to the unstretched state) rather than “growers” just having greater compliance. I base that theory on the knowledge that, statistically, growers and showers have the same erect size. So, my thought is that greater elasticity would mean “growers” would have average flaccids with enormous erections.

The best exercise to be a “show-er” when flaccid —- I would suppose it’s jelqing?

Stretching is probably the best. And dynamic pumping. I suppose almost all people who do PE become more showers than they were.
