Skin Tags On Penis?

I have recently noticed that I have developed what look like skin tags, on my foreskin (the area that I strap into on my extender) and at the base of my shaft/pubic bone and I have read where friction causes these. So I am wondering if my extender and pump have caused these on me. I went to the health department terrified that they were genital warts, and at first the lady said she thought it was. However I returned to the health department, (BC I have no insurance) a few months after my initial visit, and the same lady said she didn’t think they were warts and that I needed to see a dermatologist to see what they were, because they aren’t able to test for it at the health department. Anyone else experienced anything similar or just me?

Tbh, as a nurse, my advice is to find your nearest STD Clinic and get checked for genital warts. Now don’t be too alarmed, odds are something like 90%+ of the population gets genital warts at least once in their lives but our immune system takes care of it. The worry though is if it is genital warts is it the cancer causing kind — that’s what they test when they test for warts.

So definitely go get checked if its a new growth, if its genital warts they’ll probably do the most common thing and freeze them off with Nitric Oxide(? I forget). I’m actually in the same boat as you, and I didn’t get the Gardassil immunizations when they first came out, just didn’t know about them until after I was done with college so rip me. Just moved to a bigger city and they have a few STD Clinics here so I’m planning on going in too. (When I get the courage and the time, but mainly the courage)

Also Gardassil is offered by Walgreens’ pharmacy on a walk-in basis I hear. Just last week it was approved for men for ages 26-46, previously it was only men 12-26, and previously before THAT it was only men who were sexually active with other men and before THAT it was only girls, so I was told. Talk to a healthcare official about if Gardassil is right for you.

Well the thing is, the health department here is the place where people go to get checked, and they tested me for every STD there except HPV because they don’t have the means to test for it. I’ve had them for a while now but they don’t increase in size or anything, the lady at the health department put that liquid on it that made the spot turn white, and it scabbed up and peeled off a few days after, however they formed right back to where they were before I went there to have her put the solution on the surface where I had a tag/wart. Also with me not having insurance, I’m just stuck on the best route to go with.
