Just wanting anybody’s input on this topic. If I stretch to the sides I get a very similar feeling to a straight down stretch. After looking at some anatomy pictures, I think these stretches are targeting the Ischiocavernosus muscle. It also looks like this muscle’s tendon may transition directly into the tunica. I guess my question is if there is anything to be gained from targeting a muscle stretch? Doing a few 30 second straight side stretches on each side does seem to drastically improve my straight down stretches.

I find that side stretches somewhat helpful, but only with a fulcrum (such as my other hand’s fingers) underneath to create more stress. This stresses the tunica even more and that lower area that you’re describing.

Following.

If I stretch down to the left around 45degrees I feel a defined stretch from the base of the penis all the way to my hip. That’s the only angle it happens at. I’ve never targeted it, but I am curious about it.
