Strain---Can someone explain or point me to an explanation?

Strain---Can someone explain or point me to an explanation?

Hi, I am reading comments talking about strain percentage and I have no idea what this means.

From what I’ve seen I vaguely suspect that larger percentages are less strain, but I that might not be the case, but a percentage of what?

What is 100% strain?

Ok. It’s a mechanics thing. There is stress-the amount of force applied or experienced and there is strain - the amount of deformation or change in length.

So, with a rod of glass, for a lot of stress, there is very little strain. It doesn’t stretch much.

For an elastic band, for a little stress, there is much strain. It stretches a lot.

So if strain is change in length, it has no units but could be expressed in percentage I guess. 100% strain could either mean no change or double in length. Depends on context.

Ok, so 1% strain is a 1% increase in length then, and a 10% strain is a 10% increase in length.

Though I find it awfully weird that 100% could be a 0% increase in length (or doubling), but either way that should only occur with flaccid penises, wait, is it normally used in relation to straining erect or flaccid members?

1% strain of a flaccid penis is nothing.
1% strain of an effect penis is, well not sure they can be strained very successfully.

Maybe 1% beyond the normal stretched flaccid length though could have meaning, but you need to stretch it to get it to full length judging what is reasonable without deformation, then extend it into the realm of strain, yeah I’m still kinda confused, unless someone’s a shower not a grower, then it would make sense.

~1997 age 18 I was 4.7" BPEL and somehow grew either because I wasn't done growing and or some PE work to a bit under 6 inches without measuring or noticing progress at the time. Girth has always been about 6 inches but is slowly getting larger 6.2" at widest

Current BPEL after a little work is 6.2" also, Bone pressed stretched flaccid 6.5" Will update with gains.

I think your original comment refers to people using mechanical terms in incorrect ways.

Hence, 100% could mean literally anything.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.
