I am fairly acquainted with the whole PE basics with respect to manual exercises as I have been doing them for about 2 years now, though only one of those has been a consistent year of full PE. I use manual exercises only and have made about half an inch gain in length and 1/4 inch gain in girth since I began those long 2 years ago. Lately however I find that PE doesn’t do much for me and my EQ is significantly down. My routine is basically as follows:

Monday - Girth routine
Tuesday - Kegels (50 x 10 second erect kegels) + girth routine
Wednesday- Girth routine + stretching routine
Thursday - Kegels + stretching routine
Friday - Stretching routine
Weekends are for resting completely.

My stretches are: 150 x side to side stretches, 5 x BTC stretches (60 seconds), 5 A-Stretches (30 seconds) (on occasion I try to do this routine twice, once during the day and then at night however these days it’s usually just once I do it per day)
My girth routine is: 150 V jelqs, 400 jelqs (3-5 seconds), 50 x (exercise where you push blood from both ends of the shaft towards the middle over 10 seconds) (sometimes but not usually split across a day/night session)
Kegels are standard 50 x 10 second erect kegels + 50 x 10 second reverse kegels

I have not looked at porn in over 3 months and any nude images I see are from my girlfriend. Though the occasional sexy Instagram or Facebook pics do show up lol.

I have not noticed any gains in quite some time and find that now my penis is overall harder to stimulate and does not get as hard as I would like it to. I am looking for a completely new routine that I can try. Anything that focuses on getting back my erection quality. Gaining is secondary at this point but any new ideas about routines that provided gains when you switched it up from your usual routine would be appreciated as well (I think I am well past my “beginner gains”, though I will say I am not impressed by them)

Taking 4 days off in a row for length work, stretches, is a bit too much. Have you experienced any excess anxiety, stress or depression?

If you want better EQ doing things to improve circulation are pretty much all you can do. Getting daily cardio, lifting weights to increase testosterone, and taking vasodilators like cool cayenne will all help your EQ.

Better EQ comes from being healthier generally.

Yeah take a break. If you don’t notice your EQ improve after a week or two off - then it’s unrelated to your PE.

Regarding slow gains, you said you’ve PE’d for 2 years, but one of them wasn’t very serious. So let’s say you PE’d for 1.25 years. And you’ve gained 0.5” x 0.25”. Those are completely normal gains over that timeframe. If you could keep up that gains rate you will have gained 2” x 1” after 5 years, an amazing result.

It is a deceptively long process to grow your business or your penis lol

Currently no anxiety or stress etc however I did just complete my final exams lol. I’ve started back exercising frequently so hopefully that will help me. Sometimes I don’t take the 4 days off stretching, whenever I feel up to it before bed I do stretches, but the days outlined are definite stretching days.

Is this the usual thing that people do? I’ve always counted my breaks as just me being inconsistent. How long should I really take a break, 2-3 months seems a bit much but a couple weeks I can see myself going for if needed, just to see if it would help my EQ. During this break should I be doing avoiding all PE? Edging, kegels, slight stretching (just to keep my ligaments from tightening)? I feel like PE has become a part of my routine so that’s why there is such resistance lol

Yes de-conditioning breaks are recommended when you stall for a long time. Your dick gets tough and resistant to training and it won’t grow. After 2/3 months your dick will be soft and delicate again and less work will tire it out and you will most likely gain again. I did 2 months and all I did was get laid, edge to keep my endurance up for sex and maybe 50 gentle jelqs here and there just for some blood flow. Sounds like what you need. (Shoot for 2 months)

Besides taking a decon break, there is a long debate here between longer, lighter sets vs shorter and more intense ones. Like many here, I learn as I go, but it seems that the longer, lower intensity sets show better results for me. I’ve also found that using an ADS between sessions seems to pay off. And I think that using heat is very important.

Finally, I’d say that varying your routine is a good idea. Do something for a month or two, then try something else.

A two week break is fine if you’re not into the longer breaks right now. I’d just do it as a test to see if it affects your EQ. Maybe you take two weeks off and your EQ is good to go again for months of PE.

Thanks so much for the replies all. I currently plan to be off of any intense PE (except for maybe kegels and like 50 gentle jelqs here and there as @Steinroid said) until the end of the month. If I feel like there’s a big difference I’ll go for another 2 weeks probably but doubt I’ll do something like 2 months off it. I really had no idea that de-conditioning breaks were commonplace. Is there any really light maintenance routine I should be going for or just completely coming off PE is my best bet?
