Thinking about clamping + Dry vs. Wet Jelq

OK, I told ,myself that I was going to stay with manual exercises forever and wasn’t going to get into clamping. Let me explain why I am thinking about it and let me know what you think.

Lately my wife is home with me and baby and will be for the next 3 months, which makes it very difficult to get my PE in. I am still getting my regular Jelq/stretch routine in 2-3 times a week and do some light stretches while in the shower but I’m constantly listening for the wife and having to stay up late to get it done. I also don’t spend as much time and cant concentrate as well.

I also have begun doing Dry jelqs instead of wet since it would be easier to clean up quick if I had to. I am wondering if that could be part of my regression, any opinions on Dry vs. Wet are welcome.

Anyway, I am just not satisfied and already think I am losing some of my gains from my first two months of PE. Since I might be able to hide it better, do you think trying out some light clamping might help me at least keep my gains for the next 3 months? If so, do you have any preferences on which routine to choose from the large amount of them posted here?

Well, since my PE journey, I have only done DRY jelqing along with my regular stretching and such. I am now almost at 7” BPEL and at 5” girth. 3 months of hard, and ‘hardcore’ PE’ing. ;) I am also uncut so I thought that would have a negative effect on me so I gripped a little bit harder than usual :) . Conclusion: I like dry jelqing cause it is not messy, not money consuming, and can be done anytime you feel like giving a tug :)

What do you mean you think you are losing some gains? If you are doing 2-3 exercises a week, you should be at least sustaining your gains.

Light clamping is fine, and you would definitely be able to keep your gains.

Okish6er, I agree with your points on the advantages of Dry vs. Wet, but to me it just doesn’t seem like I get the same volume when dry Jelqing.

Springer240, it sure seems like I have lost to me, I haven’t measured or anything, hopefully its mental but I don’t think so. I haven’t been able to do hot wraps before or after, I haven’t done as much stretching because of lack of hot wraps, I have been dry Jelqing for convenience and I don’t like it as much, and my overall time spent per session has gone way down. I only get 2-3 sessions per week.

Do you clamp? what type of routine would you recommend for me?

Why not do both dry and wet jelqs? I’m doing the newbie routine currently, and I’m going to PE Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday. Monday and Thursday will be dry jelqing, Tuesday and Friday wet jelqing. I’m sure they both work, it just depends on the person, and how well you can really milk blood into your unit.

Well the only reason I even started Dry Jelqing was that my wife is home now and it makes a quicker cleanup. I really prefer Wet Jelq, I think I was getting better results and its just more pleasant and less irritation.
