Thinking about starting a jelqing routine, got some questions tho.

Hello,
As you can tell I’m new to this and just discovered jelqing this week and due to the not a lot of facts online about jelqing I still got some questions and concerns about the whole idea of PE.
I’m 5.3 in length and around an average girth (I don’t have the right tool to measure it right now).
I’m not looking for massive gains to like 7 inches I just want to get slightly above average 6-6.3 to boost my self confidence . I won’t explain further why I want to start since this since is a website to discuss penis enlargement after all :P
I tried to read as much as I can before posting so I don’t post the same questions but I realized I still need to ask personally.
Anyway I have some questions and depending on the answers I will or will not start the routine.
The questions are :
1. If I’m being careful, should I still expect injuries ? If yes will I have enough time to react to avoid permanent damage ?
2. Do you see people often posting about permanent dysfunctions ?
3. Let’s say I gained enough in 3-4 months and I want to stop, If I slowly start reducing my routine and eventually quit it and never do it again, will I lose those gains completely or suffer from side effects like weaker erections and eventually original size loss ?
I kinda sound paranoid, but the idea of a bigger penis is appealing, but the future effects are just as important as having a nice penis in my opinion.

You don’t have to answer all 3 questions but it would be nice.

Cheers.

Hey Davy

Welcome to the Thunders

It is always recommended to start with a beginners routine (doesn’t have to be the JP) and continue with it for 90 days or until you stop gaining. Start slowly and build up to the full routine over a few weeks.

Jelq with an erection level between 40 and 70%. Do not grip too tight, just enough to feel blood moving up the shaft. When stretching, grab your shaft about one inch below the glans and do not pull too hard, just enough to to feel a slight stretch. Let your PIs be your guide as to how hard to pursue.

Dont forget to take good starting measurements and photos so you have a solid base to compare your gains to.

PE safely and good luck with your endeavors.

Start 11/09 BPEL: 5.5", EG: 4.4"

Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"

I don’t think you will lose your gains. But PE and thundersplace might bring about colossal changes in your perception about general health, diet which will perhaps motivate you to do PE even further.

On your first question. If you use enough heat, don’t try to overdo it and listen to your PI’s, then you don’t have to worry too much about injuries.
Second. I personally have not read about permanent dysfunctions, unless an increase in size is a dysfunction.
Third. Firstly, PE is a lot like a gym routine. 3 to 4 months just isn’t really enough time to see results. Sorry to burst your bubble there. But there won’t be size loss or other side effect unless you pick up a serious injury, which like I explained in the first place, you wont if you use heat and listen to your body. Always keep it safe first.

Welcome to TP. Best would be to start off with the newbie routine. Its designed to give you nice gains while you still condition your dick for more intense workouts. Yes, like in any workout, conditioning is key. So keep it safe there. Its a journey, and long one with many lessons along the way.

I started pretty much where you are. I was 5.2 inches when starting out. I’m currently over 8 (don’t ask my precise measurement. Wont be measuring till December) and currently working toward 9 inches. So it is possible. If you still doubt it I have a thread with picture that I will share.
Some pictures for inspiration.
All the best. Hope your journey goes well.

Ok thank you for the answer,
Firstly, I’m sure I will be safe because when it comes to my body, I’ve had very bad experiences so the last thing I need is a dick injury.
I read on other forms that the penis is a muscle that you train to reach a goal (just like gaining a 6 pack) So when you stop the gains you made start to fade since the penis isn’t being simulated like before .
So the reason I asked that is that people said after reaching a goal, You need to do a basic routine once a week to maintain the gains.
What are your thoughts about that ?
Oh and one more thing : I know it is different for each person, but how long did it take you to gain the first inch ?
Cheers

Yes maintenance is always required, plus it’s healthy for you.

Well, no. The dick isn’t a muscle. Its tendons, veins and soft tissue. I haven’t worked out in a while and lost a lot of muscle mass on my body, but I have also not worked out my dick and lost minimal of my gains that I have made. I basically just lost the gains I haven’t cemented yet. Once your gains are cemented you won’t lose it easily. Yes it is possible to lose length. But then you have to really try. Most people do do a maintenance routine though.

I read about one guy that lost length. His wife passed away, and he didn’t like masturbating. So after 2 years of not touching himself and not sleeping with anybody, he did actually lose size. But in most cases, even just regular masturbation will be enough to maintain cemented gains.

My first gains is a little of a blur. I almost gave up a few times because I wasn’t seeing anything. Then just one day. Boom. There it was. Think my first inch took about a year and a half.

Wait hold up..
So masturbating maintains the gains you got ?
My main concern is if I reached a goal and said that’s enough, I don’t have to commit for the rest of my (sexual) life to jelqing.
I found this on cementing gains :
“To keep what you have work for depends on you current routine, there is not the same routine for maintenance, I mean if you are doing “manual exercises” for example 5 days a week you can cut down to 3 days a weeks for a month and then cut down for 2 days a week then just stretch your dick for 2-5 min every morning when you wake up or go to sleep, later you can quit”
Does it add up ?

With what I have learned over the years is that cemented gains are permanent. So yes, masturbation will help you retain cemented gains. But the “if you don’t use it, you will lose it” rule counts even on cemented gains. If you don’t have sex and don’t masturbate, then you will see a reduction in size. The reason people do see losses in size when the stop cold turkey, is because they haven’t cemented their gains yet. Hence the need for a maintenance routine. It should probably be more appropriately be named a cementing routine. Because that’s basically what it is.

I’ve learned that through gains, I considered it permanent after six months. There’s simply no way for me to return to my original size.

Started 7.75x5.75

Currently: 9.75bpX6.75eg My Picture Thread

Goal:10.0bpX7.25mseg Building a thicker unit, click by click, pump by pump, jelq by jelq!

I don’t think it’s possible to go back to my old size after a year of pe its permanent.

Start Jul 2016 - 4.5 BPEL x 4.25 MSEG.

Peak - 6.6 BPEL x 5.13 MSEG

So what I understand from you all is after 1 year of PE I decide to lower the routine slowly then stop,a) I should not lose gains as far as I am putting my dick to use either through masturbation or sex correct ?

And b) stopping the PE after a year should not affect my erections since I read that Jelqing gives you harder erections ?

If you take days off and do it correctly with the correct erection levels you would never get injured you might have very minor penis tiredness which will effect your penis negatively.

Question 2 look above as the people who caused bad damage I believe didn’t proceed correctly

Lastly if you stop PE in 3-4 months you will lose all gains….I did PE originally for 7 months and lost almost all my gains 6 months after stopping.

Ok so far from every answer I’ve gotten, I am convinced of starting PE for a year which is apparently the minimum people here recommend for somewhat permanent gains.
One thing before I start though, A person I know who isn’t a doctor but very very well educated when it comes to the human body health he told me this :
Althought jelqing could improve erections, make your penis larger etc.. It shortens the age of the penis . So it’s bad for the future of your unit if your blessed to live till 70 let’s say :P
I trust this person’s opinions because I usually ask for his opinion before going to the doctor about everything and he was never wrong about my cases
Whats your take on that ? .

1. Just warmup with jelqing and don’t erect jelq. You can’t really hurt yourself jelqing, unless you want to strangle your member.
2. Never had a serious injury in my PE career. I’ve stretched, jelqed, clamped. Still got a healthy, bigger and a working dick. Froze my dick once, but wasn’t a PE related though.
3. You might lose some gains.
