TP Community Stats Research

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone knows (I was looking for a forum search function but am not seeing one) if there are any stats from this community regarding:

1. Average gain in length per month (BPEL)
2. Average gain in width (widest point) per month (EW)
3. Average gain in girth (circumference thickest point) per month (EG)
4. Average session length per 24hrs
5. Average total time stretching (weeks, months, or years)
6. Percentage of all stretchers who have gained 1" BPEL or more

It would give a more data-based idea of the progress one might expect if embarking on the journey.

I’m also curious about:

1. The relationship between session length and gains (I.e. Is there a minimum session length threshold for any gains, as well as a point of diminishing returns where stretching longer doesn’t give you any more gains and may even be detrimental due to injury).

2. If anyone has who has achieved 1" BPEL gains or more also experienced a change in hardness due to the significant extra tissue

3. If anyone experienced any "shrink back" once stopping the sessions? If so, how much shrink back?

In case you’re wondering, many years ago I was interested in PE but never really committed myself to it. I figured after all these years maybe I should check back here on the kind of progress real people like us have made. I did check the progress photos and they do give me some idea, but it’s just not enough of a sample. I don’t know how many stretchers there are here in TP but it would be cool to see some more quantitative stats.

Cheers
SH

Welcome to the forum.

Stats analysis.

There are lots of people who post their progress in a very data heavy manner.

@Memento Totally missed that! Wow, that is pretty awesome (btw there’s a typo at the bottom of that page - the link should say "download your own data" :)

Just added my (starting) stats to the database.

Also ate up all the stats (including the awesome analyses by others).
From what I gather, on average one can expect a BPEL gain rate of around 0.27cm (about 0.1") per month.
So assuming decent diligence, a solid 1" gain in a year.

I do have some questions still:

Gains

1. Some people reported negative gains. Doesn’t look common but how is that possible? Is it just inconsistency in measuring?

2. I was surprised to see such a positive correlation (looks close to 1:1) between length gains and girth gains. Why is that? I’d expect the girth to stay the same or even decrease if stretching lengthwise, since the stimulus is a lengthening force, not a widening/thickening force.

Gains by Time Period

1. Most people appear to either stop after about 4 months, and/or the gains pretty much plateau after 4 months. Why is that? Regiment fatigue perhaps?

2. If one kept the same regiment diligently for a full year, would the gain slope continue linearly? Physiologically I don’t see why there should be a plateau (I am reminded of the tribe in Africa that stretches their necks).

Your estimates sound high for the average but certainly with diligence many people gain.

1. Could be inconsistency. Could be user error - reversing measurements. Could be reduced erection strength.

2. I’ve not noticed that correlation. Do you mean proportionally? Most rounded routines (like the newbie routine) work both length and girth. Some people who hang do minimal girth work but hanging by it’s nature causes base girth increase.

1. Most people give up on most things. Not everyone can play guitar but a lot of people have tried.

2. You have to monitor religiously and change things up because the penis will adapt to what you are doing and resist. One of the biggest points about PE that I don’t think is discussed enough is that there is a sweet spot that changes over time. Do too much or too little and your screw your chances. Hit it just right and you grow fast. This is an extremely hard point to discuss in written form. I’ve been discussing this for years and never found an effective way to communicate it that everyone can get. If you don’t need your rest days, you’re probably not doing enough work. Your penis should feel fatigued by the end of a session. Personally, I found monitoring post session length and girth gave me a good indicator as to how effective I was being. It’s also easy to go overboard, you can spend an hour jelqing and waste the time in lots of ways. It should be possible to effectively jelq within 15-20 minutes if you are mindful and make every stroke count. Over time, you should throw other exercises in with the jelq to stress the penis a little more or differently.

Learn. Monitor. Adapt. Heat.

Watch the videos. Searching for the main exercises will bring them up.

@Memento
Thanks - makes sense.

Regarding the estimate - I just took the averages from the analyses of multiple folks here and averaged it all out. What average value for BPEL gain/month were you expecting?

Yes from the chart it looks like the longer the length gains the more the girth gains, and the slope looks around 45 degrees. I suppose people aren’t just doing stretching exercises and are also doing stuff for girth. I wonder if just stretching and nothing else, might actually reduce the girth (not at the base but along the shaft)?

Yeah I see your point about that sweetspot. My gut is that 1) consistency is key, and 2) definitely avoid injuries. Which is why I’d probably avoid any regimen which includes heavy lifting. I’m curious how an ANS solution might fare. Light to medium tension for several hours, nightly. Injuries are avoided and the frequent long stretching sessions should keep the ligaments/tissues from resisting/shrinking. I know most people use ADS as a heavier routine supplement and during decon, but I wonder if anyone has tried just ANS, but in a consistent manner, for say 4 months. At say just 3 hours per night and just 5 days/week, that’s still 240 hours of frequent stretching in 4 months - and without having to worry about injuries, decon, even exercises, etc.

Hi memento,

First off would like to congratulate you on your gains! I am a college kid looking to start PE. I have some experience with hanging and water pumping for 2-3months straight while using an all day stretcher 4x a week for hours. I took a break for a year and now I am back (saw minimal gains). Looking for a new routine to start with and gradually increase the routine. Here is the catch, I am a freshman in college living in the dorms so the exercises can not be completed in my room and will be completed in the bathroom. When you get the chance, would you be able to help me out and provide a newbie routine that involves water pumping to gain girth and length? Your time is valuable and I appreciate the time you have given up to help others on this website. Thank you!

shianh,

I was thinking of the overall gains people achieve and thinking your monthly gain looked large. The overall gains include people who did not gain much. Some of the analyses take too much out of the data, imo. They state that and it’s a choice. You’re right you have to commit. Most people don’t really commit.

Things that are supposed to affect length also affect girth and vice versa. A rounded routine is important.

That sweet spot is quite close to the point of injury. You can reduce the chances of injury and increase the chance of gains with heat but if you are PEing properly you will injure yourself. Probably doing something you’ve done a hundred times before and by not being in the moment. Injuries happen when we aren’t paying attention. There’s a thread on that: A System for Safe PE. ADS are a very slow way of gaining. People are seduced early because - normally - initial gains are very rapid with any form of PE. I’d recommend the Newbie Routine and learning PE without equipment. Then add equipment later once your knowledge and understanding of the process has grown and if required.

Klehman,

One of the prerequisites for good PE is heat. Heat is fairly easy to come by. You can microwave a rice sock, you can fill a water bottle. Maybe your heating doesn’t even have to happen in a bathroom. Beyond that, lubes are messy, pumping is messy, consider a routine much like the newbie routine but with dry jelqing in place of wet jelqing. Dry Jelqing is easier with an uncircumcised penis but perfectly possible unless you have an extremely tight circumcision. If you feel you can do wet jelqing and then clean up in the bathroom that would probably be preferable. I’d leave the pumps and ADS for later if you choose to add them. A lot of people don’t need devices to gain, some people find themselves adding devices when gains slow.

Hi. Thank you for the information! Will try out this method!

Hey @AndyJ thanks for the pointer - Good source of anectodal info on the big gainers. When I plug them into my spreadsheet (calculates the growth rate per month) they range from .15cm/mo to 1.78cm/mo, which is really not that meaningful because it’s just an handful of accounts. The pattern I see with these big gainer though is that they are at it for years, so when taking the time it took for those large gains into account, it does bring the growth rate down.

I feel the best indicator is the quantitative data set gathered here by TP. Sure there are always outliers and bad data, but there are clear clusters and observable patterns.

Took a look at your stats and 1.13" in about 8.5 months is 0.34cm/mo for BPEL which is above average, so nice work there :)

@Memento thx for the link - good tips for sure.

Took a look at your stats and you’ve got pretty decent consistency in your data log here.
And 2" in 9 months BPEL is a 0.56cm/mo gain rate which is way above the norm.
So you’re definitely doing something right! Maybe you’ve hit that sweetspot, which I agree is key (but risky)
