I have a good size member my friends. Recently I have been just doing manual stretches. I warm up with a warm washcloth always for at least 10 minutes. I don’t overdue it. I know this is probably not the reason I am having difficulty achieving a very hard erection. I get such extreme heart rate right when me and my girlfriend hook up and once that happens it feels like my body is locked up. Men what the hell should I do? Do you guys have any tips? Any of you been here before. I am worried any wise words for me?

You should probably see a physician.

There are many different things that could cause these kinds of symptoms, some more serious than others, and some that could be remedied.

Being able to listen to your heart and lungs under resting and stress testing conditions would narrow down the possible causes with further diagnostics that could confirm what the exact issue is.

Outside of issues immediately related to the heart, there is also a range of peripheral arterial/vascular disease that could cause this, some of which could probably be alleviated by just regular exercise or cold and hot water dips. The human arterial/vascular system is very dynamic with a wide variety of chemoreceptors, hormones, and nerves that control the rate of flow into different regions of the body under different circumstances, and so many different things can go wrong with it.

You really should see a doctor when you get the opportunity and watch for indications of a heart attack in the mean time.

Personally, I keep a pulse oximeter and blood pressure cuff in the house. I use a pulse oximeter to tell me if my blood oxygen level is decreasing and the chambers of my heart are still beating, a blood pressure cuff tells me if there is something wrong peripherally via systolic and diastolic pressures. It’s just part of getting older and it’s not that irregular for me to wonder if I’m having a heart attack after eating too much. Everyone over 30 should have these in my opinion, they’re tremendously useful in the not so rare occasion you need to convince an old fart with chest pains that they actually need to go to the hospital this time.

I can get that way too. REALLY wound up! My girl gets that way sometimes too. We can hear each other panting like an animal we’re so Hot! We slow it down and kiss and caress more and settle into a more “connected” session. It settles us both down and increases the intensity. Usually I get diamond hard then!

The problem is that when you are in this situation your body switch to the sympathetic nervous system, because you have associate sex with something stressful. The biggest issue is that you can’t be afraid and physically aroused at the same time. It’s the same thing that people experience when they have to public speak for the first time.
When the sympathetic nervous system kicks in you are in the flight or fight mode, because your body thinks that the stress represent a real danger for your life.

You should try to control your enthusiasm and the best way to do it is through breathing. Do whatever you do smoothly and at the same time breath slowly, inhale for 5-6 seconds and exhale for 5 seconds too.

You know I read somewhere about this being part of the fight or flight mode all humans are built with.. And I feel that this may be the root of all my evils.

Yes, I think it is anxiety kicking in and there are ways to relax and calm yourself including breathing exercises and meditation.

You can do a search for guided meditation sessions on line where you just get comfortable and breathe and relax while listening to the instructor. Give it a try. I do it daily. Only takes 10 minutes.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.
