Commando is great if you are very clean and wash pants often. Can get chafing on the glans and rubbing and sticking on the legs. Rubbing and sticking of the privates against my bare legs is a real annoyance for me.

My approach is cotton Hanes Boxer Briefs with fly. Hang the cock and balls out the fly. Same effect as commando but eliminates the rubbing and sticking and is more sanitary in the ass region. Still some chafing.

My modified approach is to add another pair of boxer briefs or boxers between me and the pants. Now it has all the effect of commando. And is most sanitary with least chafing.

After you reach a certain size, jockey style briefs are not going to be comfortable. Or you can pay $20 and more for a single pair of underwear that has large pouch features.

I already need the large pouch briefs. I buy a brand on Amazon called ikingsky. They’re very comfy. But I tend to go commando when I’m not at work.
