US Govt Reclassifies Penis Pumps & Cock Rings as Medical‏

Does anyone know if this is true. Because if it is, anyone in the U.S. who are thinking about pumping should start to purchase there stuff from whomever there going to buy from. The email i received from picturebrite states this.

“The US Government Food and Drug Administration has alerted all Shipping Ports of Entry into the USA that Penis Pumps and their accessories as well as all Cock Rings have been reclassified as Medical Devices and special licenses are required to import these.

While Picture Brite expects to find a way to continue import rings, there may be a short period of time that rings become scarce and more difficult to find in stock.

Penis Pumps and their accessories will be discontinued shortly and we encourage anyone thinking of buying a pump or accessories to do so soon while supplies are still available. We encourage you to avoid low stock levels and purchase enough Rings to last you for a few months but request that no one “panic buy” so that there will be enough to supply everyone.

Should any further developments come to light, we will send out a notice.”

Looking for more shit to tax, is what that’s about. Remember those health care reform bills that were passed? Well they are loaded with fees and taxes on various “devices”. The ones that get the most attention for abusive levels of taxation are those that are the most expensive (duh), the ones that are the most discretionary, and the ones that are the most common.

Pumps and extenders I can understand, but cock rings? :-Y

They can be used to obtain or prolong an erection. Hence they have a use as a device to address a medical condition : Erectile dysfunction.

I can’t find any stories on this subject doing a Google search. The only thing that turns up in Google is this thread. :shrug:

I can find nothing either. Now it sounds more like a marketing ploy to raise prices and create a busy quarter.
